Did you know that Manchester Transplant Unit is the busiest Transplant Unit in UK? We broke the national record (our record) several times in the last decade. Last year the activity was lower but even then we performed the highest Kidney Transplants in UK. That deserve a 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Manchester Transplant Unit not only do Adult Kidney, Pancreas&Islet Transplants but also does Paediatric Kidney Transplantation. Last year Manchester Children’s did highest number of Paediatric Kidney Transplants in UK. Highest ever in Manchester! That deserve another 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Our team of 5 Advanced Practitioners (APs) are surgical nurses by background. We can see, diagnose, treat & discharge some patients independently 📋💊 We look after patients who come in as an emergency with a problem that might need an operation. We have over 100 APs @MFTnhs !
