Regardless of

box office
- Carol Danvers will be one of the leading Avengers
- Kamala will be involved in a Young Avengers project
- Monica will play a huge role in the multiverse arc
So far,
#Echo
is alright. Not a home run, but certainly not the worst thing to come out of Marvel.
Pacing seems to be its weak point.
It also might be best to temper any expectations about certain characters like
#Daredevil
and go into it focusing on Maya first and foremost.
#TheMarvels
is all killer and no filler. The runtime is perfect.
There was never a point for me where it felt like it dragged like a lot of blockbusters do and it doesn't feel too short either.
#THEMARVELS
My third viewing of The Marvels was my most enjoyable experience yet. This is already one of my favourite comfort movies of all time.
I really love the story and the dynamic between the characters. I'm definitely seeing it many more times while it's in theaters.
#THEMARVELS
No Bob Iger you are at fault here because you
Moved The Marvels to November 10 knowing there were several other movies releasing the following weeks
Refused to pay your actors a fair wage resulting in the cast not being able to do marketing before the movie released in theaters
Bob Iger blames the underperformance of ‘THE MARVELS’ on the large volume of content making it difficult for execs to supervise.
“‘The Marvels’ was shot during COVID, and there wasn't enough supervision on set [from execs]”

Just got back from my second viewing of
#TheMarvels
I love this movie so damn much! It's everything a comic book movie should be and more.
I found myself enjoying it even more than my first viewing. Planning on watching it many more times while it's in theaters.
One of many things which caused The Marvels downfall at the box office was the misconception people needed to watch multiple projects in order to understand it
The movie actually summarizes events from those projects in a way which makes sense to those who haven't watched them
Keep thinking about how Oliver sacrificed himself so that Kara and Barry can still be heroes and still live their lives and even after the Arrowverse ended, that’s exactly what happened. 😭
