An aspiring rock musician student who loves rock music, Nintendo games, anime, and manga. I see music, video games, cartoons, and comics as artistic mediums.
@NetflixFilm
"Cute" doesn't mean making children into porn stars. "Cute" is attractive at an endearing way. There's also the African fertility dance that does relate to sexual intercourse. Netflix should be sued for being pedoeros. "Pedo" is Greek for "child," and "ero" can be sexual.
@pocahontasphnx
What these people are doing is murdering the chance of hiring potentially good actors. This is not moving forward, this is insulting to what acting is about. Acting is pretending, and making it believable. Somebody should get acting students to educate these actors.
@Light_88_
ORAS is a good example of making the best remake by world design and models. Let's Go managed to look the best overall. What can work is to have 2D anime characters with 3D backgrounds and layers to save memory for extra fun content.
@GiveMeBanHammer
Even cosplayers have been able to dress as other characters fine. That means the women who claim the short clothes hurt them like when doing live action Cowboy Bebop are gross liars.
@Grummz
I have seen this image popping up, and it is very true in cases about the models being too ugly. Even cross-dressers never support being called "type 1/2" since that sounds like diabetes. "Male/Female" is fine as it is.
@EmirichuYT
Then there are internet users asking why people are drawing boys that look like girls. The arch head and tall, round eyes are not female facial features. These features are the basic requirements to make the characters emotionally expressive and cute.
@Genki_Yowchi
Even people do not accept slander on rock music bands either. Egypt even started banning the Netflix Cleopatra for the lies about Egypt's history under the "documentary" label.
@AlexMooreActor
"It's done to be relevant, and accessible, not be transliteral."
That is racist. No other country should inject their culture into someone elses, and we need to respect the fact that other countries exist. Translating helps us communicate to people who speak a different language.
@BoundingComics
People demand Japanese culture to be Japanese culture. That is how it should be. There is already US stuff available in the US. Dictating any medium always ends badly.
@GiveMeBanHammer
It is never about the clothes. Some people failed to know that. Censorship is basically restricting the truth and creative freedom. That means even making the clothes short as opposed to being a bodysuit is censorship. Cutting someone's hair against his will is censorship too.
@Grummz
"Trainers, your avatar can now look even more like YOU!"
No video game player that I know wishes to have characters looking like himself. Video game players would rather play as attractive characters that can look different to idolize. Mirrors already exist.
@iuntue
Translators are a must when releasing country-related content. Localizers should be fired from ever working. The majority of people worldwide are fine with Japanese content as Japanese content. Led Zeppelin never censored 'Stairway to Heaven' nor 'Kashmir' in other countries.
@CensoredGaming_
People support Japanese stuff as Japanese stuff. People support Italian food as Italian food. People support Led Zeppelin as Led Zeppelin. Easy as that. Turning something and someone into what they are not like censorship is begging to go bankrupt.
@BepDelta
"Too short." That sounds like a stupid reason to hate a character, even in Japan. That is kind of like Japan's equivalent to hating a character just because the character is wearing green. Children are supposed to be short. That is who they are.
@ChrisWehkamp
Hypocrite. Funimation and Crunchyroll are stealing anime. Yet, you supported them. Don't ever tell us to support companies who censor, politically correct, and country localize. Those are equally as bad as pirating. Art fans like us support translating and the creators.
@WWG
One of these days, Wizards of the Coast is going to go bankrupt for not understanding Dungeons & Dragons has always been about humans killing monsters. We know it.
@Light_88_
A closer look at the Generation 3 sprites, you can see the colors are similar with a different view like on the whole body and clothes. These are the results of link plays between the RSE and FRLG copies. However, there are no Kantō sprites for the Emerald player sprites.
@Scratch_Point_Z
This also happened in 13 Sentinels. Tsukasa Okino is a boy genius, but he never mentioned "binaries" for his reason to dress as a girl since he is actually trying to hide. Binary code is not related to clothes.
@iuntue
These are how the Pokémon characters should be designed. They should have the arching head with the usual tall eyes. Parallel bodies, and shirts and pants for the males; and rounded hips and breasts, and skirts and dresses for the females. Sex dimorphism and cuteness rule.
@Goburin_Sureiya
@JackalPackal84
Jamie Marchi is actually more into shotacon than Aoi Yuuki. Why else did Jamie voice the pedophile dragon with spine-breaking breasts?
@jlist
Don't we just love it when Konata was being out-Konata'd by Kagami? Kagami is just so cute, even though Miyuki is the cutest. This is from episode 18.
@WorldinGreyArt
I am fine with the same sex dimorphic templates being used on characters in a series as Japanese as Pokémon. It at least justifies the "boy or girl" option. Clothes also need to fit on the body, which is why sex-locked clothes make sense. Sizes can also be similar to save memory.
@KoeiTecmoUS
Make sure you do not support Sony, even if Sony tells you it is the government's idea to have a rule about censoring games. Sony censors Japanese 2D animated games and not the 3D motion capture games, making Sony hypocrites. Panties and breasts themselves are not eros.
@GiveMeBanHammer
It would have been easy to copy the past character designs like they did for the Generation 6 Pokémon models. They can even change the hairstyles and clothes as an easy way to create new characters, and be able to have extra fun content. Anime graphics are quality.
@BoundingComics
Saying Yamato is a man is both transphobic and homophobic. Yamato is always a female who is born a girl and grows into a woman that the world already knows and accepts what Oda Eiichiro made. Bigots already lost, and fans and artists win.
@WaifuPog
What Sony is doing is worse than piracy. Sony is censoring, politically correcting, and country localizing foreign mediums. If anything, Sony is committing worldwide fascism. Art is a creative expression, and should be translated and legal worldwide, not vandalized by fascists.
@iuntue
Nothing says "diversity and inclusion" like taking away the T-shirts, jeans, dresses, and skirts that makes the male or female option pointless when having the same uniform.
@ChibiReviews
That means people will reject the companies. No joke. People are interested in different cultures and countries. People can get Japanese stuff from Japan, and US stuff from the US easy. The direction corporations are doing is forcing countries to make content for other countries.
@BepDelta
These Australian politicians don't know that American cartoons have child pornography too. Even then, cartoon porn and live-action porn are differently made from each other. Banning art mediums doesn't help protect real-life people who have been sexually raped.
@BoundingComics
"お釜 Okama" is literally "kettle" in Japanese. That can be used in the translations. Netflix already lost their viewers since December 2015 when knowing Pretty Cure already exists from different instances under the Pretty Cure name instead of Glitter Force.
@catlateral_
@Aaimz
Don't call us stupid. Yes, you are insulting 20-year-olds. You are insulting Japanese 20-year-olds. How Uzaki chan is designed is just like how Japanese 20-year-old females are like, you certified racist lunatic. Japanese cartoons don't have characters that are like Americans.
@BoundingComics
Yamato is a woman who idolizes Oden. A boy who idolizes Matis from Pokémon does not make the boy a man. A girl who idolizes the Beatles does not make her the Beatles. Easy as that.
@YOG3NSHA
Even people would find the extra layers "sexy". Sony failed to realize that. Censorship makes the case worse. It does not even matter if any character is wearing a bodysuit since there would still be people who are aroused by that, even more so than the short clothes.
@PokemonContexts
4Kids changed the dialogue that results in the characters and stories being changed. In the movie's case, it is the hypocritical moral about fighting being wrong. Originally, it is about Mewtwo finding a purpose as it never cared about world destruction.
@Mondblut1984
No Japanese person would ever say that, and it is not a clever translation based on a short Japanese phrase. That is why "nii nii" can be kept in the English versions, for example.
@Scratch_Point_Z
@JustinWhang
"Do you want to play as a boy or a girl?" and "Should your partner be a boy or a girl?" are also what normal people want too. Custom characters with the option to pick male or female, and the hair, eyes, and clothes should be the standard.
@bingaroonie0611
Satoshi sort of got a girl counterpart of his own. Marina is based on Kris from Pokémon Crystal, in which the later is the first playable girl in the Pokémon games.
@HiuKelvin
Funny enough, SNK made different art designs for their Metal Slug characters. I would like to see Marco, Tarma, Ralf, and Clark have the same face as Fio and Eri's, to match the cartoonish style of the games.
@Shibukaho
You look pretty cute, even in the outfit, and despite that I am not interested in Uzaki chan's behavior. The racist lunatics (kichigai) and politics make us sick. That is why common sense and self-respecting people should never be afraid to be politically incorrect nor honest.
@KenAkamatsu
Rock band Rush said it best in Permanent Waves. Art is a creative expression, not political speeches, nor marketing campaigns. Art is and should always be legal worldwide. No creation should be censored, politically corrected, country localized, nor removed.
@iuntue
Japanese companies should have learned that Japan's population is much larger than any likes on social media sites. The Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue sales are up to 31 million, which is larger than any like numbers on a social media post there is.
@multijuegos1315
@YourNerdWonder
The tall eyes and round face have existed since 1932 since Betty Boop was created in the US, and she is an adult despite people saying she has a baby's head. Even Helen Kane looks like that. It is not an age thing nor a sex thing to be cute.
@KerrangMagazine
Pop singers think rock is all about screaming and wearing all black. That is negatively stereotyping. Rock is diverse in terms of lyrics, singing, instruments, emotion, and topics. Pop singers have none, and miss the point of the songs since pop singers lack emotional range.
@BepDelta
Art doesn't deserve to be banned. The politicians are nothing but hypocrites who probably had sex with children under the radar to disguise themselves. Art is an expression, not a sex rape commercial. Anime, manga, and other foreign mediums will still be around, no matter what.
@vicmignogna
Same thing for you, Paul Reubens, Brendan Frasser, Johnny Depp, Michael J. Fox, and other victims who have been abused for being great people. Stay strong, smart, and positive.
@iuntue
Sex dimorphic character designs should be brought back too. People who say otherwise are homophobes and bigots for rejecting masculine men and feminine women.
@NotHaru47
Fan service is like customer service where you must give regulars what they want since they are the ones who earn you money and love to begin with.
@Mangalawyer
Uh, censorship should never be produced to begin with. Never mate with censors. They are never your friends. They can also turn against their own people, similar to calling cross-dressers "body types" instead of "male” or "female" based on the worn clothes.
@iuntue
@Mondblut1984
@Scratch_Point_Z
Marvelous/XSEED released a new Fashion Dreamer trailer, and they still use "type" to replace "sex". Already confusing since there is a type option that goes up to 9. Fashion always acknowledges sex to ensure the clothes would fit right.
@GiveMeBanHammer
This is going to make Japanese customers reject both the US companies and Japanese companies for supporting censorship/bigotry altogether.
@IntiCreatesEN
@PQubeGames
Sony would censor the panties and bras out of this game. We are glad Gal*Gun Returns is never going to be released for the Playstation 4/5. Nintendo has promised to offer uncensored games, and this really helps Nintendo keep their promise. Games should be fun.
@iuntue
"It does not affect the gameplay."
That means there should be no censorship. Picking male or female, and having different dialogue based on sex are fine as they are; and even those do not affect the gameplay either. Picking pronouns as an option has always been a stupid idea.
@YOG3NSHA
"It does not affect the gameplay."
Then there is no reason to have the body type option with the unisex clothes and hairstyles on all of the male and female custom characters.
@DrLavaYT
I love Pokémon Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum more than I already have. They tried to add more stuff and fix something the base games suffered from. Paid DLC feels too much of a money throwaway. It is like buying a car with missing parts or a freezer that pauses each hour.
@YOG3NSHA
Knowing that Japan is mad about the old, ugly, androgynous, and porikore character designs in the country's cultural and iconic series like Pokémon, stuff might change. Censorship is death to any product's fun. Fantasy and reality should be separated from each other.
