. Crews were immediately deployed to provide a rescue response & assist emergency service partners in treating casualties and securing the scene."
Police and emergency services are in Hainault at a serious incident in which a man with a sword has been arrested.

Today we remember Firefighter Anthony Marshall who sadly died in the line of duty

in 1981.
Firefighter Marshall became trapped when the building collapsed after a fire at Woolworths in
#Wimbledon
Most of the ground floor of a mixed-use building in

was damaged by a fire involving a chip pan.

We responded to more than 20 emergency calls about a fire at a block of flats on Ramsey Street in
#BethnalGreen
this afternoon.
Firefighters have attended and extinguished the fire. Thankfully no one is reported to be hurt. Please avoid the area whilst we remain at the scene.
