Alert! Dr. John Greenan, Principal of East Campus, has been selected as the 2022 High School Principal of the Year for the Illinois Principals Association Three Rivers Region! Tonight, the LTHS Board of Education recognized Dr. Greenan’s outstanding accomplishment.
Last night the School Board bid farewell to LTHS Superintendent Dr. Todd Wernet and Principal Dennis Hicks who are retiring at the end of the month.

What's cooking? Teachers for the culinary classes have been getting supplies ready to send home next week with the students to continue lab experiences at home.
When the March Sociology field trip was canceled, 100% of the students agreed to donate the lunch money they’d paid. They donated money to a local foster care facility & provided a meal from a local restaurant for ICU nurses & doctors at Silver Cross Hospital.

Over 100 veterans attended the 7th Annual LTHS Veterans Night. They were individually recognized followed by a moment of silence before tonight’s Boys Varsity basketball game. The veterans proudly held the American flag during the National Anthem.

More than 150 veterans attended the 9th Annual LTHS Veterans Night celebration! Among them are 4 WWII veterans & 4 Korean War veterans. Of the WWII veterans, the ages range from 102, 99, 97 & a female Navy veteran who is 96 years old. Thank you, veterans!

The School Board recognized the 50th Anniversary of Title IX that banned the exclusion or discrimination of a person, on the basis of sex, from any educational program or activity receiving federal funds. LTHS female athletes and coaches accepted the resolution.
