Splatoon is a great game series but like all competitive scenes, it can get frustrating at times. Against the odds, you can reach great heights in terms of skill and accomplishment. Keep trying!
tl;dr: Stop discouraging players playing specific weapons and start encouraging players to figure out how to play them in a team. You don’t have to do what people say is meta, as long as you can make it work. That’s how you end up with Ascension winning tournaments with carbon.
Instead of saying someone got carried or is laggy/lucky as an excuse as to why they beat you, can we normalise accepting the other team's skill and using your losses as a way of motivating yourself to improve?
Now that Worlds is over, I can finally live my dream to be an E-liter one trick!!
I just wish it didn’t take 10 minutes to queue into one game of 4 backlines back at home. Gonna miss Japanese matchmaking 😭
