Advised from Day 1 by my corporate manager retired Dad to be personable without being personal. Folks love and know nothing about me.

I have never worked in Corporate America. But, I have been told that I have an attitude when I don't agree with something. And it only has been told to me. By non-black women.

My working theory is it's because white they're used to be able to read bloodflow in one another's faces but can't when there's melanin.
Conversely, Black people learn to read subtle muscle changes more precisely, so we can read more and more accurately.
