Breaking: SBS have successfully stormed the tanker off the Isle of Wight and arrested seven stowaways, according to well-connected ex-Rear Admiral Chris Parry. Defence source tells me around 16 SBS troopers boarded the ship, while a frigate was on standby nearby.

Great weekend with the Royal Marines in the Artic Circle. They practised their legendary “ice breaker” drill in which they jumped into glacial pools of water cut into the ice shelf, before clawing their way out with their ski poles. Gavin Williamson gave it a go too...!

NEW: ExCel London will be converted into a field hospital with 500 beds to start & is expected to grow significantly. It will be open "within days" with help from the military, which will also convert other sites across the UK, it is understood.
