@TMZ
This isn't surprising.
Tiffany has been denying a genocide for two years, blamed women for being raped, bullied a black woman online till she felt so threatened she deleted her account etc...
TIFFANY IS NOT A GOOD PERSON!
After many years away, I’ve made it back home to Tigray.
By the grace of God, my father and grandmothers survived
#TigrayGenocide
Through my immense gratitude I understand the level of privilege I hold to be able to kiss both my grandmothers.
Hi.
My name is Maebel & I’m from Tigray.
My name means tsunami, water storms, hurricanes.
My name tells you who I am.
Today, the people of Tigray (including my family) are trapped in a silent, 2-yr long genocide
Join me in our fight, help
#FreeTigray
.
Honored to learn from
@IlhanMN
, the 1st African refugee to sit on Congress, representing us on
@HouseForeign
Having a woman whose experience is so close to mine, making decisions that will help our families here & back home shows the power of the diaspora.
#USAfricaLeadersSummit
3 years later, we have lost almost 1 million Tigrayans in Tigray.
Countless Tigrayans living in the diaspora have passed away.
Hundreds of thousands of Tigrayans have experienced CRSV.
Every Tigrayan in the world is changed, every single one of us.
#3YearsOfTigrayGenocide
It’s time that oppressed people across Ethiopia stand against the genocidal regime of Abiy Ahmed & Isaias Afwerki.
We must come together to end the
#TigrayGenocide
& continued suffering of all the people in the horn.
Help pass the
#Ethiopiapeacebill
It was great to see SEHOA Amb. Hammer at today's
@USIP
conversation on women’s leadership in peace, democracy and political transitions in the Horn of Africa.
I appreciate
@MikeHammerUSA
continuing to actively support women.
#DemocracySummitUSIP
We made a promise to each other that as soon as it was possible we would celebrate Ashenda in Tigray.
I’m grateful to be here, although it feels bittersweet knowing that many parts of Tigray are still occupied & while mourning the passing of our friend Nadia.
#DekiGebremedhin
It was an honor to finally meet my sister Filsan Abdi in person at todays USIP’s roundtable on CRSV.
The women of the HOA continue to face conflict related sexual violence at a level rarely seen anywhere else. Im grateful for
@1_filsan
consistent advocacy for all women and girls
When I say
#TigrayGenocide
has affected my entire life, I mean it.
I no longer have interest in food.
I speak differently.
My goals have changed.
I've changed EVERY single relationship in my life.
Who I was 10 months ago no longer exists. Everything is different.
Our families were not murdered, raped, starved etc.. for a change in government.
We have not fought for an entire year, for a change in government.
Tigray must be free.
Just finished meeting with leadership at
@USIP
on the continued needs of Tigray’s women and broader needs of women throughout the horn of Africa.
I’m grateful for opportunities to advocate for our people.
#GualTigrayTings
I will say it over and over and over again.
Working for the people of Tigray, MY people, is the greatest honor of my life.
I will never stop working for my people.
Long Live Tigray!
Memorials have been held in the Ethiopian region of Tigray as part of a mourning period for those killed in the recent civil war.
A two-year conflict, which began in November 2020, is thought to have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives.

Tegaru:
COME TO DC ON NOV 4th WEEKEND.
Whatever excuse you had, is not enough.
COME TO DC.
2 years of genocide is 2 years to long.
We must keep showing up for our families, screaming for our families, keep fighting for our families.
COME TO DC.
“Is my father starving like those in Sudan? I don’t know. Is he alive? I don’t know. What I do know is that not once in the past 30 years did he ever imagine he would be trapped again after working so hard to escape.”
The women of Tigray are not voiceless victims.
No.
They are heroes, fighting back and speaking loudly.
They are ensuring there is a Tigray today, tomorrow and forever.
#FreeTigray
Yesterday I had the opportunity to take part in a panel at HQ_DC, where I spoke about Tigray, my lived experience as a mother/refugee/immigrant and Black diaspora member.
I also had chance to chat with
@PressSec
who as a Haitian American woman is a huge inspiration.
We are so lucky to have each other.
The world has told us time and time again that they don’t care if we survive or not and yet, we make sure to not only survive but to prevail!
I am so proud to be from Tigray.
So proud of my people.
Tegaru,
I know I ask you everyday what you are doing for Tigray, if you look at those tweets the ones who respond the most are trolls.
Thats fine, I don't care.
But
TODAY IS THE DAY TO ACT.
Today, this minute, RIGHT NOW.
Tigray needs YOU!
Help
#FreeTigray
I’m so blessed to have a big sister like
@GualJeganu
We are so blessed to have a community member like
@GualJeganu
Millete has always done and continues to do everything she can for Tegaru all over the world.
I could never say thank you enough.
I love you so much Millete❤️🔥
I’ve been so triggered by the atrocities in Gaza&proud of the world rising up against genocide.
But,it’s left me wondering if genocide is okay as long as it’s in Africa?
Why do you not join our protests?Sign our petitions? Amplify our voices?
When will you care about Tigray?
Conflict related sexual violence is a worldwide problem.
Women are experiencing CRSV through out the world, with Tigray being one of the hardest hit.
It’s time women are included in decision making processes so they are no longer victims of war.
Hey
#DC
, are you trying to get on 395?
You might be stuck for a while…
The Tigrayan community has come out to protest Ethiopia’s continued genocide on Tigray.
We hope you will stand in solidarity with us because
#2YearsOfTigrayGenocide
is 2 years too long. 💛❤️
The best part of today was being able to visit our feeding center in Mekelle in person.
I was able to meet the women and children you all help us feed every day for the first time.
Thank you.
