Surf Report 4/29/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Looking smaller and clean to start the workweek. Leftover SW/SSW swell and minor NW windswell could be just enough to push the small wave gear. Most spots are best as the tide starts to push back in after a drained early AM low.
Surf Report 4/28/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Could still be a fun amount of NW windswell in the mix early before falling off. SW/SSW swell also on the way down. Scattered peaks likely and wind looks ok for the AM.
Surf Report 4/27/2024: 4-5', Chest - Shoulder
Possible uptick in NW swell mix as a little more SW/SSW swell shows for summer exposures. Could be a few fun peaks around if the wind can cooperate for the morning -- currently looks favorable/offshore in the AM.
Surf Report 4/26/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Modest blend of NW swell mix and leftover SSW swell on tap across the region. Could be enough to get the small wave gear going on the early tide push. Watching the AM wind.
Surf Report 4/25/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Watching wind for the morning -- could be onshore early. Steep-angled NW swell mix continues, up a notch from Wednesday. Easing SSW/S swell mainly passes by the region.
Surf Report 4/24/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Selective new SSW/S swell showing as the NW energy lingers. We'll see if the wind can cooperate for the AM tide push -- some leftover lump likely early from overnight/predawn onshore flow. Either way the surf looks smaller.
Surf Report 4/23/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Small NW swell mix is up a touch as little SSW swell lingers. Morning winds mostly light, best early. Mind the mid AM high tide.
Surf Report 4/22/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
A little more mid period NW swell mix looking likely right now. Also some modest SSW swell in the mix, setting up a few peaks for combo breaks. Just plan around the AM high tide.
Surf Report 4/20/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Southerly winds due much of the day, light in the morning. Old SSW swell leftovers joined by some new SSW swell, keeping exposures in fun-zone waves.
Surf Report 4/19/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
SSW swell down to fun-zone leftovers. Conditions looking decent for the morning window at this point, just mind the deep high tide to start the day. SSW onshores for bumpy afternoon conditions.
Surf Report 4/18/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Another day to watch. Peaking SSW swell provides nice size for exposed spots. A little slower on the high tide first thing, improving mid-morning. Winds look favorable for the tide drop mid-morning.
Surf Report 4/17/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Day to target. Morning winds looking light. SSW swell on tap for the northern half of the bay -- likely the largest so far this (early) season. Might be just enough NW for a few broken up corners.
Surf Report 4/16/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Light winds due much of the morning. NW swell mix is down a peg as a fresh round of SSW swell builds for exposed spots. Kinda peaky with the mix of swells at combo breaks.
Surf Report 4/15/2024: 3-4', Waist - Chest
Still on wind/conditions watch. Another chunky day of surf in the cards but there could be some lingering onshore issues as the coastal low clears.
We have an unstable air mass bringing wet conditions, high surf, and possible thunderstorms to the coastal waters through this afternoon

If threatening weather is observed, mariners should seek safe harbor and beach patrons stay near occupied lifeguard towers.
Surf Report 4/14/2024: 4-5', Chest - Shoulder
Watching wind/conditions -- could be a chunky but fun day of combo surf on the backside of our coastal low. NW swell mix backs down through the day as SSW swell holds. Stay tuned.
Surf Report 4/13/2024: 2-3', Knee - Waist
Potential decent pulse of NW swell mix on tap through the day. Stay tuned -- will depend on late season coastal low. Modest to locally fun SSW swell picks up a notch further through the day. Wind looks dicey.
