The Governor’s Office has agreed to: 🔸 Undergo a one-year period of judicial oversight to make sure it continues to comply with Iowa’s Open Records Act 🔸 Pay $135,000 in legal fees and costs incurred during the year-and-a-half legal battle

Darkness is no place for a government to operate. Open meetings and open records lead to open minds. The government is supposed to work FOR the people. Plus, breaking the law gets expensive.
