Someone please create an Ez-Pass but for news paywalls. I don’t want 20 subs. I want to be able to drop off a small toll to read sprinkles of articles all over.

If these types of people are starting to bottom out with normal living (assuming there isnt rampant over spending or some bad habits) then we really do have a problem..
Queen Latifah is the perfect celeb. Multi talented, keeps her business to herself, not giving baseless opinions on stuff she doesn't know about, beautiful.
I do not have the energy or desire to have to compete to purchase any item.
Whether its concert tickets, sneakers, etc. If me simply having the cash isn't good enough it just won't be had.
Imagine being a former Twitter employee waiting on your severance, while clyde90848u833 just got promised $25K for reposting screenshots of stolen tweets. 🙃
Got some “good" reminders this week:
1. Clarity, even if you don’t like the answer, is a gift.
2. The only person/situation I can control is myself.
3. Nobody GAF about fairness.
4. Sometimes a situation is absolutely what it looks like. No digging necessary.
Hi. 👋 I've been in the hospital since July 23rd. It turns out I was much sicker than I thought. I've experienced cardiac arrest and being intubated. So I am glad to be here. I appreciate all the support and blessings from those of you who knew. Today I stood up and took steps.

This is so immature.“Y’all pile on us”…you’re not a victim and the level of scrutiny hasn’t nearly tipped the severity of what is occurring.
@ShimminyKricket
This has always been apparent to me since I have an 11 year old age gap with my sibling. But even people who are very close in age also experience it.
If you are a non Black person trying to help do not feel like you need to help a million Black folks to make a difference. ONE DEEPLY meaningful impactful action one life is just as good or better than a donation to a large organization for the sake of volume.
Build your relationships before you need them. Don't wait until you have a thing to promote, then start bothering people you don't have real connection with.
Many white people are not prepared to have their mental models broken by seeing and taking orders from Black people.
As long as you agree with them everything is fine. The minute you disagree or challenge them you’re insubordinate, difficult, have performance issues.
Maybe we don't have enough Black people in leadership positions in tech because we look at their leadership and see it as a threat I mean just a thought..............
Made In the Future, a design fellowship for aspiring underrepresented designers, has been a project that is years in the making and I am finally ready to share it with the world.
I hope you join me in nurturing and supporting our 1st cohort of fellows.
Happy Juneteenth to the African descendants of enslaved people brought to the United States! It is with great determination, resilience, resistance and rebellion that you and I are here. Let’s honor those on whose shoulders we stand today. ❤️
One day we will reckon with the fact that the design industry went a bit off the rails when the primary product became "process" at the expense of everything else.

We are constantly being robbed of time, opportunities, and money because we are pre-occupied with the task of undoing what has happened to us. It is a double penalty.
I hate this for LeBron. Heavily favored to win the title, but willing to give it all up because of the bullshit faced by being a Black man in America.

The NFT conversation is so polarizing. NFTs are a scam vs JPEGS are the key to a decentralized utopia.
Where is the group that says "this is an interesting technology that might be the spark of something new. I can’t wait to see how it evolves”?
One thing I've noticed, leaving a high curiosity culture (SF) and into a low one (FL) is that people can be highly suspicious of people who ask a lot of questions.
Been thinking a lot about how institutional betrayal is often a trigger for people to rethink their relationship to employment/work and such a big, unfortunate and often hidden part of the legacy of resilience you often witness in ambitious Black operators.
@toomanyspectra
Saying you don't want children is not the same as saying you dislike children. Children are literal people and you've decided you dislike them as an entire class, and you think that is fine and normal?
Amazon has announced they're phasing out their checkout-less grocery stores.
The "Just Walk Out" technology, which was labeled as automatic, was actually 1,000+ Indian employees monitoring you as you walked through the store.
If you have immense wealth/power/social capital and influence, and the ability to help change one, two, or three life trajectories…please do not underestimate this route. If you can fund an idea, put someone in a board seat,
This Duggar docuseries–Shiny, Happy, People...🥶😱 is to be watched.
The brief analysis on the parallels between the Karadshians and the Duggars deserves its own episode. 👀 The ways in which women's labor drives reality tv in fundamental ways is undiscussed.
This is a huge piece missing from the DEI convo too––managing teams while Black. When the majority of your team has no script for Blackness as authority.
“For existing customers, we apologize for the inconvenience, but customer care support is no longer available.”
"Anyone on the company’s SmileyPay Plan is still expected to “make all monthly payments until payment has been made in full per the terms of our SmilePay program.”
Buy stock in P&G so you can be the recipient of their gains [and losses] when they acquire brands you love.
You will not be able to control Black CPG brands and founders via fictive kinship and sell-shaming on twitter.
write a letter of recommendation, make a hire, strongly refer to a role.
Also consider the Black folks who you may have harmed or been complicit in holding back in the past. How might you right those wrongs?

Anyone saying “Y’all pile on us…” doesn’t have the fortitude to carry the burden of responsibility of a platform like this hands down.

Like do you even like/love this child? Because discipline should be effective and ultimately you should be on the child's side to grow them not break them. This is horrible.
Employers paying for abortion access is going to create a whole new set of issues. Also in light of layoffs this is not a secure solution and most won't even get access to this band-aid.
I just want people to consider other ways of helping than “give to the foundation” or “mentorship” plays. There is nothing wrong with giving $25k to an individual (impact>taxes).
Law Roach said he would tell Tiffany Haddish when brands were low balling her based on deals they did with other clients of his and how to go back to the table and get more, and she would god back to brands and say “Law Roach said yall lowballing me!”
