Since a lot of people have been picking up on Nier’s 50/50 routes, I’m gonna post them here for reference. Nier’s grounded route of 22l > 214l > 623l > 236m had the issue of not working while death was summoned so I came up with this route midscreen to solve that problem (1/8).

In the corner, Nier’s 50/50 setup is a crouch confirm. On standing opponents, you will start the combo with 214h and on crouching opponents, you will start with 214l (after a3). You must hit the c.h low or they will pop out of the corner (2/8).

After you hit 66l midscreen, sometimes the opponent is out of range for c.m into auto combo to reach. This is fixed by using f.l into 623l > 22h. For very far spacings, you may need to use f.h twice to bring them into range for 22l > 214l > 623l > 236m to properly connect (3/8).

You can also hit confirm 214h into 22l > 236h to combo into 50/50 from max distance

Just as a side note, at 2m distance you can use this routing and frame kill with 66l for a pretty reliable meaty jab. The true safe jab timing is pretty difficult but this should be safe to Ex dp’s for the most part.
