Today is the Texas primary election! Republicans and Democrats will determine who they'll be putting on the ballot in races across the state for the general election this November.
The presidential and U.S. Senate races are at the top of the ballot, but judicial and legislative

I’m gonna need all U.S. senators & congressmen/woman to go home now. Like, ALL of y’all. Just go home. We don’t need any of you. R’s & D’s. You’re just growing the crap out of govt & giving our money to anyone & everyone. The main duty you have is to protect our border & you’re

Wait. You mean that people can and do just say things on this site that are totally false and cause people to believe things that are fundamentally untrue? Even people on the right??
As usual,

team is knockin' it outta the park w/their election coverage! If you're looking for factual reporting of Texas political news - without any hidden agendas that so many on the left and the right push these days, look no further than

What I loved about the TEA party movement was that it was focused on principles - constitutionally limited govt, fiscal responsibility, personal liberty, national sovereignty, free markets. Those principles were then used to guide us on the issues and candidates. Who the
Why have we gotten to a place in this country that so many people - on the right and the left, want government action for every conceivable problem? Particularly when it's gov't actions that made the freaking problem in the first damned place? My God, people.
I'll rephrase my now deleted tweet to make it clearer: I think everyone needs to take a lesson from Gov
@GregAbbott_TX
with how to respond to their fellow Republicans who won tonight. No sour grapes. Just congratulatory tweets.

Imp to note that while
@KenPaxtonTX
implies a tie between the publicly posted House docs that had his home address on it w/the swatting incident, the address on those docs was his Austin home address, not his McKinney home address, which is where the swatting occurred.

On New Year’s Day, a currently unidentified caller made a false report to 911 describing a life-threatening situation at our home in McKinney. As a result, the City of McKinney Police and Fire Departments quickly and bravely responded to what they believed could be a dangerous
It's simply amazing watching people on the right chastise a sitting judge for being an originalist. For those who've forgotten, the right side of the aisle does *not* want activist judges. Unfortunately, critical thinking has left the building & emotion & anger has taken its

Everything is fine in the Texas senate race. Ted is doing well and will win handily. You need to worry about your guy. He's the problem, not Ted.
Since former Rep Bryan Slaton's actions seems to be in the news again & since so many want to state things about Slaton's actions & expulsion that are factually incorrect, y'all might want to revisit the official report here. It's hard to read, but y'all need to understand
He was literally PUSHED OUT by those in power in his own party. If you're saying *that's* patriotic, you're saying that it's patriotic for a few to nullify the votes of millions of primary voters. You guys on this editorial board are freaking nuts.
I want to make politics boring again. Dear God, please let's make it boring again. The only way we do that is by gettin' govt out of all the freaking things it does now that it has absolutely no business in. That alone will make all the the stupid, idiotic theater go away too.
And besides this, a Republican did win. So how about a damn semblence of decorum instead of the gawd awful sour grape accusations tweeted by fellow R’s, and they instead offer a congratulatory tweet?
@GregAbbott_TX

Trust me y'all. When politicians endorse - even conservative ones, they're not usually endorsing based on conservative bona fides. Usually a statewide elected's endorsement is for a very specific reason - either it's one issue they want to get passed, or so they can control that
