You can find meanness in the least of creatures, but when God made man the Devil was at his elbow. A creature that can do anything. | Writer | Illustrator
No matter how many idiots refuse to accept it, CSM's Animation quality is still one of the highest level of achievements in all of the industry. This level of Polish for a hyper-realistic anime is insane.
Man seriously
Who tf gave these aesthetic accounts the address to Kizumonogatari
Time to gatekeep:
That vampire becomes a loli and the man she's biting her is a lolicon and a sexual harasser
Chainsaw Man Episode 4-
Storyboard, Episode Director: Tatsuya Yoshihara
Chief Animation Director: Kazutaka Sugiyama, Riki Matsuura
This was genuinely the best Moving and Looking Episode I've witnessed in the past 3 years... Genuinely Movie level stuff right here.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners Episode 6-
Storyboard: Kai Ikarashi
Episode Director: Yoshiyuki Kaneko
Chief Animation Director: Yoh Yoshinari
Animation Directors: Kai Ikarashi, Ichigo Kanno
End of the line for the Edgerunner known as 'Maine'. Only David can run past this line now...
I wonder how much more evidence MAPPA/Jigokuraku stans need to understand that the show is up in flames in scheduling.
It's showing up on screen as well but they'll never see it.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 18-
Storyboard: Tomohiko Itou
Episode Director: Yui Kanbe
Chief Animation Director: Kouta Sera
I actually almost teared up, i always will when it's about a character tackling their intense anxiety where it almost stops their daily life functions
Now anything they don't like is CGI☠️
First of all... Who tf told you to look at a 60fps interpolated scene from YouTube or something??? This is Keiichirou fucking Watanabe's most purest 2D cut possible
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 14-
Storyboard: Ayumu Uwano
Episode Director: Takashi Mizuzono (Pen name?)
Chief Animation Director: Shinobu Irako
The Compositing has improved and the grain filter is back!
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 17-
Storyboard: Tomohiko Itou
Episode Director: Sayaka Tsuji
Chief Animation Director: Kouta Sera
Atp they should just appoint Tomohiko Itou as the new director because hes involved in soo many good Storyboards and is a very experienced director
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 19-
Storyboard: Tomohiko Itou
Episode Director: Sayaka Tsuji
Chief Animation Director: Shinobu Irako
2nd best episode of Season 2 right behind the norn episode
As i said, I teared up. Seeing rudeus happy and have a family was soo wholesome
Arufumi Imai is a legend.
Everything about this episode felt soo surreal. Gojo being something of a horror character, the creepy and realistic behaviour of that Cult, the uncomfortness of politics within a straightforward goal to save humanity, everything was soo fucking unreal.
Chainsaw Man Episode 8-
Storyboard: Shouta Goshozono
Episode Director: Shouta Goshozono, Takeru Sato
Chief Animation Director: Souta Yamazaki, Kazutaka Sugiyama, Shun
Episode of the Year for me... Story, voice acting, music, animation. Everything was at its best.
I still hope they add a bit of that Anime energy to it (just the minimal amount on SOL Scenes) and manage to have more 2D Chainsaw Man (although I don't think the Gun Devil will let that happen)
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 15-
Storyboard: Tomohiko Itou
Episode Director: Yui Kanbe
Chief Animation Director: Hongzhi Sun
Excellent episode. Nice to see Tomohiko Itou return to Storyboard as i thought it wouldn't happen.
Has instances of bad AD work in 1st half
Kinda glad that the latest trailer, which is possibly it's last, of Jigokuraku shows almost the same scenes as the previous one's because after some comparison: they've improved the Compositing in most of the scenes.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 3-
Storyboard, Episode Director: Nobuyoshi Arai
Chief Animation Director: Hongzhi Sun
Best episode yet. Yes, I'm an anime only, don't care what was skipped.
I think JJK S2 EP 5 will forever stay with me as one of the best episodes in anime
I loved EVERYTHING about that episode. Such a calm downfall of a Character like Geto was peak.
Man... I'm pessimistic but ngl that Trailer is actually giving me some hopes...
Seems like the Core Action team will be Kenichiro Aoki + other in-house action animators that have grown under him and the CAD work seems amazing
I like how he has specifically mentioned "visual aesthetic" (which Includes movement, not only considers movement alone) yet people keep going back to Animation only lmao
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 10-
Storyboard: Hiroki Hirano
Episode Director: Kento Shintani
Chief Animation Director: Aya Tanaka
A really good Storyboard from Hirano, the director.
He definitely is still trying to keep the engaging energy of MT S1 alive as much as possible.
@kis_isaac
Till the end of times people will praise studios and the Sakuga Community tries to shed the light on the people who make it possible... Just a hellish cycle atm
@wonderof_
@Bolverk15
@bixbie99
Which they don't?
What happened to Cyberpunk has not been a norm and probably never will be.
This is a rare case where the team actually cares enough to fix things. Most will never go through this much effort and just move on
Chainsaw Man Episode 9-
Storyboard, Layout Supervision: Hironori Tanaka
Episode Director: Takahiro Kaneko
Chief Animation Directors: Hiroyuki Saita, Takako Shimizu
Had big expectations from this episode but I'm a bit dissapointed, Animation-wise.
Anime is brilliant because they portray women as being mentally the same as small children, which they are.
This is a way of writing and thinking that has been totally lost by western writers.
Yeah
Production IG is the best animation studio in all of non-kyoani studios
They gather high quality talents all the time and other anime never fall behind and are always above the norm of average animation
Prod IG is what people think MAPPA is + they adapt more unique manga
My moots who are just trying to play "I'm just an anime account UwU" card
I know you, I remember you always expressing thoughts on "ohh white people are like this and evil and previliged" and on other political shit
Why are you soo focused on anime and manga suddenly? :) ?
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 (Part 1)-
Storyboard: Yuichiro Hayashi, Ryota Aikei
Episode Director: Yuichiro Hayashi, Ryota Aikei, Tokio Igarashi
Chief Animation Director: Daisuke Niinuma, Manabu Akita
Eren's just one of the best main characters in fiction. Didn't ever-
Shield Hero did a smart choice by grabbing Shingo Yamashita for the opening because now people thinking that these are cuts from the anime episodes or something ☠️
People calling this AI made lmao
Just check everything Shinya Ohira has made till today before AI trend came around 🦍 it's that easy but nope. People want to be blind
Chainsaw Man Episode 1-
Storyboard,Episode Director: Ryu Nakayama
Chief Animation Director: Kazutaka Sugiyama
That was a perfect episode 1. Probably the best Episode premiere I've experienced this year. The atmosphere and lighting was perfect for the tone
Kensuke Ushio's OSTs🔥
@kis_isaac
Ngl... People have DMd me from yesterday too... Saying that I'm being Disrespectful to these Animators by saying they worked on Black Clover 🗿 one of them was soo salty to just QRT me and say "Plz put respect on Tatsuya Yoshihara and don't attach his name to Black Clover"
Fire Force Season 1 Episode 1-
Storyboard, Episode Director: Yuuki Yase
When Kizumonogatari Staff works on a TV Show (except replace Tatsuya Oishi with Yuuki Yase, ofc)
I absolutely ADORE these women, pushing the boundaries day after day! They’re modern day versions of Rosa Parks or MLK, fighting the fight against centuries of women being told their figures are dirty or dangerous or can only be owned by men. Way to go
@jenfoxx
Can't praise Ryu Nakayama and his team enough of how they conveyed the Live-action feeling soo well
Fujimoto must be soo happy that his adaptation looks like the movies he loves
