Let's talk about insidiousness of QR codes in restaurants. Was at 5-star hotel restaurant in Aspen frequented by CEOs/gov officials/celebs. Waiter pointed us to QRcode for menu. Why do patrons agree to this? If I were hacker I'd swap out QR codes in restaurant for malicious ones

Straight-party voting causes problems in some jurisdiction in every election. I’d advise voters to not vote this way but make selections one-by-one on your own instead of relying on machine to make them. And ALWAYS DOUBLECHECK YOUR BALLOT before hitting final button to cast it.

🚨 ALERT: We have received multiple reports from voters who voted straight-ticket, then saw on a later screen that their votes were changed to that of the opposite party. You must check your ballot before casting to ensure it’s correct, and you can ask a poll worker for help.

So Amnesty is essentially saying now that the list contains the *kind* of people NSO's clients would ordinarily be interested in spying on, but the list isn't specifically a list of people who were spied on -- though a very small subset of people on the list were indeed spied on

People today were ridiculing @AOC for this seemingly stupid claim. But what she really said was: “Algorithms are still made by human beings and those algorithms are still pegged to basic human assumptions..if you don’t fix the bias then you’re automating the bias” Not so dumb eh?

At store last night loading groceries into car in dark lot when guy approaches and asks Did you drop yr wallet? In his hand was my wallet w/ credit card and $300 cash that I’d dropped 10 minutes earlier. No one would have noticed if he’d pocketed it. Not a bad way to end 2020. 🙌
