As a straight person I can tell you we are nowhere near there. It would not be a safe space if straight people took up too much of it. There’s still a long way to go. I’m sure you can come up with something to deter us 😂

Reminds me of something I read about a bartender chasing someone out for having n*zi dog whistles on their clothes, explaining to another customer that it doesn't matter if that person was polite because if they feel safe they will invite friends and it will become a n*zi bar

Facts! I stopped going to gay bars, ect (unless invited) once I started seeing other cis straight ppl not being respectful in those spaces. Cis-straight women are the social minority around cis-straight men but that's not an excuse to invade spaces of other socially oppressed ppl

A lot of gay bars in my town have had this problem. I asked some of my friends and they said they have to change places every 6 months or so. It gets overrun. That and half the time they feel like they are an oddity to be stared at by straight women.

East rule to live by, If you can see in the gay space from the streets, you are welcome as straight people. If the windows are blacked out, you’re not welcome as the boys want to be boys and girls want to be girls.
