Visiting @SomersetCCC for the first time in 7 years a lot has changed. What hasn't is the friendliness of staff and supporters. Folk smiled at me ,said hello, stewards engaged in pleasantries. Even @GMH1962 said hello. The CEO's at my work haven't done that ever. in 25 years.

Another picture of London Road from 1963. In those days you could walk to the Moys End via the Glebe and vice versa. Although in one game v Doncaster their fans didn't bother. They took the shortest route. Across the pitch.

Saddened to learn of the death of Ray Thomas of the Moody Blues. His and their music has been with me since my teens. Music in many forms and, I include recent offerings , is able to take you back to experiences good or bad. Well at least it does for me. RIP Ray

Very sad news to wake up to today. Mick Wilson renowned goalscorer for many local clubs including @StNeotsTownFC @EynesburyRovers @stfc1893 passed away on Boxing Day. A teammate of mine @houghtonwytonfc RIP MIck and condolences to his loving family.

A very sad and emotional day today. After many years of transporting folk to the day centre in Sawtry every Wednesday my services are no longer required. Made many friends. Doing the job was good for my health. Not doing it won't be. In bits as I bad farewell to them.

In the early 90's I produced a Sports magazine. Did three issues and then the Hunts Post and Town Crier woke up and I was stuffed. Just found this picture of Bluntisham which was never published. Steve Ellis a supporter of my venture in the front and I suspect I know that goalie.
