Matthew Tkachuk on missing game 5 of SCF - “Can hold my head high knowing I did everything possible to try and play….the end result isn’t what we wanted.. such an amazing year… it was a hell of a run.”
Matthew Tkachuk said it was a group effort to help him play in game 4-
“The next few days were pretty tough…my brother was staying with me, has to get me out of bed, he’s getting me dressed… guys tying my skates, putting on my jersey.”

Nothing like hockey in South FL 🌴

That’s so kind. Korey is the best! He started the organization, “Korey’s Krew”that provides a suite at panther games for others w/ intellectual and developmental disabilities. Korey is awesome 🙌🏻
We are beyond lucky to have Paul Maurice in South FL. His resume speaks for itself, but he is also so incredibly generous with his time- whether it be in our broadcast meetings on game days, or our in-game bench interviews. One of the best.
Aaron Ekblad will undergo shoulder surgery and says he will not be ready for start of training camp but shortly after.
Ekblad says he broke his foot game 2 of the Boston series, but didn’t find out until middle of 2nd and 3rd round. He then dislocated shoulder during the ECF.

Matthew Tkachuk had high praise for his brother Brady. He told us one of the biggest honors is seeing him play in the NHL and the success he’s having.
He also told us there will absolutely be no fighting. That’s his mom Chantal’s rule when they’re both on the ice.
