Always weird to see fans brag about a man who has to lose before he gets motivated to win. Coaches like Saban, K, Belichick, Torre never coasted.

This is a super weird take. The Big 12 is an elite conference that Self has failed to win all of three times from 2005-on, and Kansas hasn’t failed to land at least a No. 4 seed in any single year in his KU tenure. Acting like consistency is a failure of his is way off.
