After every patch announcement, people who are unhappy about something will target the few social-media-active devs to harass regardless if we work on the problems or not. As someone who read every single posts and mentions @ me, it takes a huge toll.

Some of you asked how come we have so few WR devs active on social? Well, personally I wouldn't even recommend it to my colleagues. Why? Here is my experience.

Last few weeks have been really tiresome work-wise, and I even contemplated quitting. Then seeing people tweeted at me calling me a "fucking lazy dev" while I worked throughout the holiday break was heartbreaking and made me question is this worth doing?

I am not trying to play the victim here, because at the end of the day, I chose to do this and I do still love talking to and hearing from players on social. It is one of the ways I stay in touch with our players and it helps me build better products.

But, to some of you, you need to think about how your words can make others feel. We shouldn't have to remind each other to be kind every few months.

@RiotJunosaur I reported some of them for harassment a few days ago. Probably weeks ago
