After every patch announcement, people who are unhappy about something will target the few social-media-active devs to harass regardless if we work on the problems or not. As someone who read every single posts and mentions @ me, it takes a huge toll.

Last few weeks have been really tiresome work-wise, and I even contemplated quitting. Then seeing people tweeted at me calling me a "fucking lazy dev" while I worked throughout the holiday break was heartbreaking and made me question is this worth doing?

I am not trying to play the victim here, because at the end of the day, I chose to do this and I do still love talking to and hearing from players on social. It is one of the ways I stay in touch with our players and it helps me build better products.

But, to some of you, you need to think about how your words can make others feel. We shouldn't have to remind each other to be kind every few months.

@RiotJunosaur I'm not justifying the toxicity of those people. There are some who just complains normally. But can't really blame them. There are no news on mic which has been not in the game for many months and not having the voice chat fixed really destroy the essence of playing with friends

@RiotJunosaur Sadly the only competetive game without in game voice comms for almost 6-7 months if im correct? With no explanation why is that removed from the game. That is one of the Major problem aside from events.

@RiotJunosaur Honestly 95% of the people commenting don't even understand that not everyone works on everything when you work in a team, moreso if there are several teams doing different aspects of the job so whatever problem they encounter they throw shit at the person that put 1/x

@RiotJunosaur Keep working, don't pay attention to those who call you lazy, even a worker needs a break, a little advice from me before you go on vacation, give at least 2 events

@RiotJunosaur I love that you take the time to talk to us on social media! You can really tell how much you care about this game ❤ I bet you basically work when you're not even *at* work by talking about WR over Twitter and I don't think people get that in the slightest.

@RiotJunosaur Like any product there will be bad and good reviews. Everyone involved in League of Legends regardless if they work at Riot or simply play the game will be abused by the player base, it's the whole reason I turn chat off when I play.

@RiotJunosaur Some of us really appreciate all the hard work you guys put in to the game. I see lots of people putting yall down constantly and I'm not a fan. Thank you guys and I hope you find joy in the work that brings some of us joy everyday.

@RiotJunosaur Umm okay, we as a community understand your point but you guys have to understand why players are complaining too. We are litrally asking about voice chats but no answer on that while china version has it why this biased treatment?
