Basketball is NOT FUN the older you get. It's something you fail at, work at, & then get better.
You have a role/responsibility on the court to fulfill, try telling a college coach practice or playing isn't fun, wait for their reaction. Fun stops after 8th grade bball.
Too many adults got kids feeling like Superstars with edits, tapes, & announcing every decision they make.
And we wonder why they choose the wrong school and transfer 8 months later. Starts at the top in my opinion.
Zyrice Scott
@zyricescott
is a downhill PG that can finish in traffic. As you can see, Scott has a good feel for the game as he breaks down defenses to find teammates. Scott excels as a floor general & ensures his teammates get a plate at the table every game.
@TeamGAMagic
D Favors Celtics PG Jalen Harper
@jalenharper20
has been impressive this weekend. Displayed his athleticism on the break along with an improved offensive game in the half court set.
@thelab_dfavors
Michael Thomas has been of many bright spots for Liv On Fleur De Lis. He's cat quick with good vision & elite quickness. Thomas has been a good mix of a scorer and facilitator so far at

Might be TOO many AAU teams in Atlanta now. Plenty of bad teams could merge with others and be pretty good. Too many teams, talent spread thin,watering down brands.

If you've been to 2 or more camps and haven't received any attention for your play, skip the next two and get in the lab so you're recruitable during HS season.
2020 John Green
@jaygreene2301
is one of the quickest guards getting down hill.
He's crafty with his handle and has a nice jumper, hit (4) 3's this past game and got to the lane at will for
@GeorgiaAchiever
If the people in the Warner Robins area don't appreciate Coach Tat Brooks something is wrong.
Giving him his 💐 right now! Goes above and beyond for his kids & gets them signed. Much respect OG!

Future is bright for Newton 2023 Guard Stephon Castle. 6'5 PG with poise and phsycial instinct. Scored on different levels today & showed maturity with the ball.
Finished with 15 points along with several assists, steals, and rebounds.
2021 Javian Mosley capped off this weekend with a stellar performance. The lefty hit some early shots & got in a groove from all levels. Attacked the lane, hit some 3's and converted at the line. 25P effort to end the live period
Two things from live period:
1. Can't be a (little) Guard & not know how to play at different speeds. Too many turnovers/momentum swings.
2. Learn to play over the top of defenses & in open space. Floaters, runners, & pull up jumpers add to your point total.
#FreeGame
Sleeper Alert with shooting ability in 2022 TSF Micah Johnson
@glokage_
. A quick trigger shooter with a nice frame to attack the paint, Johnson hit multiple 3’s in every game today at camp.
De'Marquise Miles came into the

Lot of good players left on the board every season. Who you choose to play with for 16U & 17U matters. Can't keep playing with random start up teams with no relationships.
All Stephon Castle
@StephonCastle
to start the game for Newton. He scored their first 15 points combining threes and layups at the rim. Elite level prospect at 6'6 can play virtually anywhere on the floor.
@NewtonRamsHoops
Another dominant performance for Jakai Newton
@jakai_newton
Indiana committ has been aggressive finding layups and jumpers off the bounce. Hard player to contain once he's going.
@newtontamil
Davis Walker is a true floor general who can find teammates when open but is a crafty scorer. Walker is automatic in the mid-range area & has a ton of floater finishes in the lane.

All the tweets, pictures, UO visits, workouts vids mean NOTHING when the lights come on.
However you wanna put it, you gotta play when them eyes on you.
2021 Wing Kowacie Reeves
@wacie_wacie
seemingly gets better every game I watch him. Already a great shooter at 6'5, Reeves' athleticism is surprising defenders.
Last game he put a helpless defender on a poster in transition. HM's are already tracking the rising star.
You could probably fact check the OTR staff from previous write ups, camps, tweets, whatever. No fluff over here, most kids we find turn out to be legit and game changes on the next level.
I'm not a fan of chump killers in the game. Play lesser talent you look like a stud, play even talent and you're a fish out of water. Be consistent, we can tell the difference.
Dylan Williams
@Dywill03
was tabbed a standout performer by multiple OTR staff. Started the game slow but picked it up big time in the second half. Hard nose guard with top level speed puts pressure on the rim & opposing guards. 15P & a few assists in a loss.
2021 Brendan Rigsbee was more than impressive this morning vs Aim High. Crafty ball handler with size & a knack for creating contact.
Scored the ball efficiently & got to the line. Finished with 27 points.
'23 Silas Demary
@silas_demaryjr
is a killer at the PG spot for Curry. He can score with ease but is a high level facilitator & distributor.
Rocked the gym with a nasty put back dunk in plenty of traffic. 6'3 PG should be of value to several schools.
@TeamCurry
@Sim_Frazier
Cesare Edwards
@cesare_edwards
is a combo forward who can do a little of everything.
At 6'7, Edwards can play inside or out, & play with his back to the basket. Skilled forward with length can bring scoring & rebounding from the 3 or 4 spot.
@teamtruth07
@UpwardStarsSE
2020 Spencer Schomers
@SchomersSpencer
has rebounded well & scored on all levels for OSA Crusaders.
He's got good length at 6'6 and can stretch the floor to the 3. He's hit (2) 3's and totaled 12P so far
@OSACrusaders
There's nothing wrong with posting your stats occasionally, but after EVERY game win or lose with your "we tried hard" & "I came to play but fell short", coaches don't wanna see that stuff. Let the HS coaches & media ppl put your stats out,it isn't helping your recruitment IMO
Seth Hubbard
@SethHubbard24
impressed big time last night on a big stage. Led the Celtics in scoring the second half & was almost unstoppable at points. Hit the 3, the midrange off the P&R, & defended more than effectively versus elite guards.

Team GA Magic Forward Quay Primas
@QuayPrimas
showed off his range earlier this morning. Looked comfortable shooting the 3 off the catch & as always was dominant inside cleaning the glass.

Zocko Littleton Jr is just a pure shot maker. All he needs is space to jump and flick his wrist. Shot looks good coming out of his hands every time. He's got about 13 already with three threes.

@CanesGa
2022 Forward Joyful Hawkins has been the most impressive freshman today by far. A force inside the lane on both ends, Hawkins demands double teams & eats space.
Skilled athletic big who can stretch out to the 3, control the boards, and finish above the rim in traffic.
2020 Davian Thompson
@Davian_3
capped off an impressive weekend with a 25 point performance this morning.
Thompson plays with a high motor which leads to easy layups & a ton of rebounds from the G position.

RJ Godfrey had an imoressive showing last night for 16U Xpress. At 6’6 Godfrey’s frame and skillset on the perimeter or block make him hard to cover.
Scored inside the lane at will for the Xpress leading them to a tough win last night.
Myles Tate
@MylesTateeee

Tate is deserving of all the recent interest and offers.

has no problem finding offense in the flow of the game. Quick first step to blow by & a nice stroke from outside the lane. Finished with 20 points & (3) 3's.
Alcorn St. FAU, MTSU, & UNCG all involved in his recruitment right now.
Korey Richardson
@Kowitdabutter23
is an intriguing player on the perimeter. He’s super athletic with a non stop motor.
Richardson plays above the rim in transition & is . skilled enough to play on the wrong attack the basket, and find opportunities on the offensive glass.
Zocko Littleton Jr.

Elijah Mahi is one of the more versatile prospects I've seen this Spring. Big time mismatch on the wing or the forward spot at 6'6. Definitely one to track heading into July.

Team Curry 6'7 Diallo Eihadji fits today's game perfectly. College ready frame, super athletic, & has a motor.

2024 Jamir Russell was tabbed as one of the best shooters from range in the gym. Right from the tip Russell made (3) threes his first game & never looked back. Silky smooth release on the 6'2 SG from Salem (GA).
Keivion Hunt
@keiveon_h
continues to raise his stock here in Atlanta. 2022 Pg is for real.
