I have never been comfortable enough to show even the tiniest bit of stomach or thigh and yesterday I bought a see-through shirt that I'm wearing today, paired with the shortest skirt I own, and I haven't freaked out yet? My hair is also super long now so that's a thing.

Today a really cute little girl came up to me outside my apartment. She talked to me in Finnish and I tried to explain I didn't speak the language. She ran off to her mom for ENG words, came back and yelled "HELLO, ICE CREAM, BYE BYE" and proceeded to run away. Amazing 🥺🇫🇮

I was put in a youth institution for five years for running away from home at 13 after being depressed following the death of my dad. Turns out; once you're in the system it's hard to get out. Yay for monetary compensation at 24! Truly proud of what I've accomplished since.

Today, my family is saying goodbye to Vitnäsa, our 15-year-old cat (Swedes, I'll explain the name in a bit). She was the snuggliest, drooliest little girl and she loved to chat in "brrrbbll" cat speak. She always had something to say.

14 years ago today I lost my father to suicide. Coming to terms with it took years but the older I get, the more passionate I get about preventing others from meeting the same fate. Take care of the ones close to you, listen when they open up and seek help if you need it.
