It's not that Boxers are scared of MMA or that they can't do it. It's that there's no incentive to do a more taxing sport for laughable pay. Opportunity cost of learning boxing over MMA at the top end favours boxers comfortably. 6 months of Sprawl training™️
My take on Anthony Joshua in MMA:
He's a big athletic fella who hits really hard and seems pretty coachable. I'll have any of those you've got please
We must never forget that Big Francis first got into the UFC with takedown defence that amounted to "put your chin in his eye"

Spot on, there’s a reason some are eying are up boxing. The pay day is just unrivalled for combat sports, really is a shame UFC doesn’t offer more pay.

The incentive is to be the baddest man on the planet, many ufc fights care more about that than money. Boxers aren’t as about it as mma fighters are. I mean being the best fighter on earth is the one thing they can’t get from boxing, and they all already have excess wealth

If you think buddy is wrong you’ve either never fought or only watch the ufc…a lot of fighters start out boxing then transition…a year of mma training would be enough for a top boxer to come over and take over…look at all the kickboxers who have done it…Izzy…pereira…
