Rare Craig Jones tap. Nicky Ryan is probably my favourite grappler. Knew Craig was going to go for a sumi gaeshi as soon as he felt the butterfly and did an anticipatory cartwheel pass to scramble. Don't know what the back take is called but the sprawl into sit was cool

@MMAWretch Kristian Woodmansee has a dvd out on that belly down seatbelt position called “Vortex of death” and Frank Rosenthal has a good chunk on his back mount dvd about the end position he calls a low chair sit.

@MMAWretch That sprawl back take works extremely well if you have a seatbelt grip and the opponent is able to clear your hooks. I think it was a Marcelo thing.

@MMAWretch Back in 2011, i went to an Andre Galvao seminar and he taught the same backtake and i think he called it the “the sprawl back take”. Said they were focusing on that position heavy. I think Rafa won that year
