Nina Simone. I used to cross paths with her in New York City in the Village Gate nightclub….. She was an overwhelming artist, piano player and singer. Very strong woman, very outspoken. That she was recording my songs validated everything that I was about. (Bob Dylan)

When Bob Dylan, this day in 1985, released the box set "Biograph", it was groundbreaking in more than one way - it showed us what a box set could be. The great booklet, outtakes, alternates, live tracks & hand-picked earlier released songs. Fabulous!

Today I feel lucky to be one of them who actually love At Budokan. First time ever I heard a Dylan live recording, and it was like a revelation to hear old songs in new clothes. I still think this is my favorite rendition of this song.
