Say what you want about Todd Graham, but his coaching tree is something impressive. Kenny Dillingham, Mike Norvell, Dan Lanning, Jay Norvell, Chip Lindsey, Billy Napier, Ryan Silverfield, Chris Ball. And I’m probably missing some. They were all at ASU in some capacity under him.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it’s fun even if it has: UofA has a bye this week and plays next on Oct. 9. UofA’s last win in a game of football was on Oct. 5, 2019. Therefore, it is inevitable that at least two full years will have passed without a win. I like this.

Maybe I’m right, maybe not, but I have the guess that the ASU fans who didn’t want Hurley to stay weren’t around when making the tournament was a once-a-decade kinda thing. To even be a consistent bubble team is a step up from what I saw for my first 15 years or so as an ASU fan.
