@HootPhD So true. I was asked to lunch by two male colleagues about a subject we all have knowledge of. They spoke to each other and I are my lunch.

My daughter (a straight A student) came home so frustrated yesterday. In engineering class she was placed into a group w/ 2 boys who completely ignored her input. After struggling for 20 mins they then decided to use her idea & claim it as their own. A story as old as time.

@JennBridge @HootPhD Personally, all male teams in undergrad engineering were the worst & unworkable: projects left till the last day, nuisance chit chat without any material progress, disorganised, bickering over petty things. I got the worst feedback /marks from them & asked to be in mixed groups.

@JennBridge @HootPhD Good…?? —They didn’t get any of your ideas or feedback to get ideas to steal from you then?? 🍀

@JennBridge @HootPhD Why not more assertive? They were interested in what you had to say or they wouldn’t have invited you. Men speak while women sit around and wait to be asked.
