@KensingtonRoyal I hate to say it, but I suspect that the words abdominal surgery and 10 to 14 days in hospital will lead to some Google searching and intense speculation as everyone plays Doctor House and tries to figure out what might be wrong with her. It might have been better to just spell…

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal Most likely a hysterectomy as others have indicated. It’s possible that she has a lot of scar tissue, thus they would be able to perform it via laparoscopicly.

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal Very true. A 10-14 day hospital stay has me quite concerned.

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal I understand that but they also want to keep a very firm line that they will not announce their health conditions. They don't want to start a precedence x

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal Not necessarily, I’ve had abdominal surgery and spent a considerable amount of time afterwards. Your be amazed at how much you use your torso for even the smallest things and they want to make sure you’re healing well before you go.

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal I was thinking the same. 10-14 days in hospital is long. After my abdominal surgery I was out in a day. Rest and recuperation was done at home. But then it wasn’t in a private hospital. Wishing her the very best!🙏

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal Sounds like a hysterectomy to me. And I assume it was not completed via laparoscopic. Whatever it is, I hope she starts feeling better very soon!

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal It's no one's business. They can speculate all they want. Regardless of what the press release said, people would have come up with conspiracy theories. And the options are varied, so let them guess. I'm sure she's used to the invasion of her privacy.

@JennBridge @KensingtonRoyal Although it seems a long time speculating her illness, we have to remember she just isn’t an anybody. They’re probably taking more precautions being Catherine princess of Wales
