Due to the freezing weather & precipitation expected in our area, all after-school activities are canceled today and all schools & offices will be closed tomorrow, Jan. 17. Wednesday's board meeting will still be held at its normal time.
Today, the citizens of

displayed their confidence in the direction of our district by approving a millage to provide pay raises for teachers and support staff. We want to thank everyone for their support. The community came together to get out the vote.

family is deeply saddened by the passing of former superintendent & veteran educator Isaac G. Joseph. Joseph was the first African American superintendent of JP Schools.
Next Wednesday, Jan. 24 is now a full day for all students. It was originally an early release. We're extending it to make up time lost due to inclement weather.
