What is world building?
In basic terms...
It's about you
• Being yourself
• Sharing your story
• Attracting others to you
None of the platitude stuff.
Pure. Focused. Community building.
And that's the best way to grow.
I have been on 𝕏 for 297 days.
I still haven’t
• Hit a 10k month
• Done a giveaway
• Reached 10,000 followers
There is nothing wrong with that.
What I am trying to tell you is-
You don’t figure it out straight away.
You are meant to keep figuring it out as you go.
Do you want to write emails that standout in the inbox?
I spent the last 31 days building the Standout Email Builder to help you.
(It's easily worth $49+)
Want me to DM it to you for FREE?
Just Like + Comment "email"
(Must be following)
*RTs appreciated but not necessary*
I gained 100+ followers in just 13 days.
How?
Using my Infinite Content Blueprint.
Which teaches you how to repurpose your old content into
• New posts
• Viral stories
• Authority building content
Want it?
Just like and comment "infinite"
(must be following so I can DM)
“You need a college degree to succeed”
Says who?
In the last 3 months I
• Found my calling
• Built valuable friendships
• Got my first taste of online munny
My life will never be the same.
But none of this came easy.
Here's my story (all the wins losses and challenges):
Here’s how I went from broke college student → highly paid copywriter-
Turning my dream life into reality.
Changing your life is easy once you know how.
Here’s how you can the same 🧵👇
I don't engage 300x a day.
Sorry not sorry-
But that takes up too much time.
What do I do instead?
I intentionally reach out to 3 people a day.
I comment on their posts.
Then send them a DM.
That's called making friends.
And that's how I gained 220+ followers this month.
I don't engage 100x a day.
Sorry not sorry-
But that takes up too much time.
What do I do instead?
I intentionally reach out to 3 people a day.
I comment on their posts.
I then send them a DM.
That's called making friends.
And that's how you need to grow on X.
I sucked at storytelling.
But now my stories get 60k+ views.
And get better engagement than most 100K accounts.
How?
I stuck to it for 365 days.
Even when I didn't have
• $10k months
• A freakin clue what I was doin
That's the power of patience.
My routine is not that special.
• I wake up at 10
• I don't take cold showers
• I don't work crazy long hours
I just find my needle moving tasks-
And I complete them no matter what.
How did I turn a single email into $3K?
I told a story.
But more than that I sold a transformation.
And I sold the map to a better future.
You see. I didn't sell a service.
I simply GUIDED my readers to the next step.
And that's the basis of all sales.
Let’s gooo🔥
Finally hit 300 follo-
Naw yall are more than that.
We just hit 300 freakin legends💪🏽
I appreciate it so much everyone!
This community based on storytelling is only going to go up and up from here🙌🏽
You need to build a community.
But how did I create a community that gives me awesome numbers like this?
I told my story.
I shared my beliefs.
And most importantly?
I was my genuine self.
That's how I built my world.
And that's exactly how you can too.
Daily reminder:
It's easier to sell 3 high ticket services a month than try to sell 1000+ low ticket products.
Stop fighting for pennies.
Leverage your story and start making big bucks.
Ai is tempting.
To the eyes of a new creator-
The emails ChatGPT can spit out might look better than what you can write.
But Ai doesn't know how to connect with the reader...
The only real solution is to IMPROVE your writing.
And you can learn how by joining my email list.
Call me crazy-
But there's nothing "wrong" with follow for follows.
And before you call me crazy...
A follow for follow isn't
• A growth hack
• How to build a community
A real follow for follow is a relationship being built.
X is a social media platform. Make connections.
Want to ruin your brand identity?
Send messages like this.
It looks desperate.
And it will destroy your own confidence and skills.
What should you do instead?
Focus on sharing your own story.
Then turn your story into the center of your own world.
I've been on X for 13 months.
Not that long-
But I know this:
You need an offer.
Without one...
You're just a moments notice away from quitting.
Dont forget:
Followers aren't the be all end all.
Be careful while building here on X.
What's wrong with follow for follows?
As a beginner-
(0-100)
I'd say almost nothing.
Go make connections.
But it's just not viable longterm.
Focus on improving your content.
And build up a real + active community.
You need an offer.
Otherwise what's the point of running a social media account?
And a lot of people struggle to create an offer...
But all you need to do is find a problem.
And position something you love doing as the solution.
Don't overcomplicate it.
Are you struggling on X?
3 weeks ago my voice was invisible.
I tried everything. Failed. And wanted to quit.
But now?
I get compliments like this daily.
And all I'm doing is sharing my story.
My advice for you:
Share your story. And build your own world.
You don't need a lot of money to succeed.
You just need a plan.
And some determination.
I've been building on X for 11 months...
But I tripled my following in just three months.
How?
I created a simple schedule for my posts.
Build systems for yourself to win.
People buy from people.
So stop with your professional work tone.
(Your content isn't being sent to HR)
Learn to write like you're writing to a friend.
I've made a huge mistake.
I kept telling myself I was building my business-
But in reality?
I've been building a social media account.
So I'll be shifting focus.
It's time to start working on what really matters.
I used to write into the void.
But now?
I average 15+ likes a post.
All by sharing my insights and story.
And I'm not just flexing all over the timeline...
I'm offering advice and tips.
If you want to boost your engagement...
Learn how you can help others with your story.
I just reached 500 followers.
And the best part?
We were celebrating 400 just 2 weeks ago.
Now I know y'all are legends-
So I wanna give you something worthy of 500.
To celebrate 500 I'll be dropping a free course.
On what you ask?
I'll be dropping my Infinite Content
People buy from people.
So stop with your professional work tone.
(Your content isn't being sent to HR)
Learn to write like you're writing to a friend.
Why do I love email?
Writing an email to a list of 100 subs takes just as much time as writing an email to a list with 10K subs.
That's what I call a high leverage skill.
You might have the best offer in the world.
But if you get lost in the void...
No one will even see it.
So what should you do to make sales?
Build your own world.
Stop fighting for a space...
And create your own world today.
We hit 500 followers last night.
And to celebrate?
Well I'm dropping this bad boy in 4 hours.
It's exactly how I went viral 3 times in the last 5 days-
And how I went from 400 -> 500 followers in 2 weeks.
Want in?
Follow now so you don't miss it.
You need to bait the reader a little bit.
Spark their curiosity.
Hint at a problem.
Guide them into becoming product aware.
Then...
Once the ball is in your court.
Serve.
Why can't I make any sales with my list?
You're too chill.
What do I mean?
Your reader doesn't see a problem worth solving.
So of course they won't pay you.
If you want sales.
Make the problem + it's consequences real.
My number 1 email sales hack?
Include more than 1 hook.
The second your reader gets bored. They leave.
Reader gone = No sales.
No sales = No business.
No business = Not good.
Always remember when writing:
Your goal is to keep the reader with you to the end.
Why does storytelling work so well?
All people want 1 thing:
Entertainment.
If you can deliver the right amount of that value-
You can transition to whatever else you want.
Storytelling is one of the most deadly email techniques there is.
But let's take a step back.
What makes a good story?
A good story has two things.
A main character + clear conflict and resolution.
Want to write a good story?
Focus on the storytelling basics.
X is an amazing platform.
But that's all it is.
A platform.
That you're renting.
And have 0 control over.
So what should you do?
Build your email list.
Create and nurture your own community.
Stay consistent.
And you'll monetize faster than using any cold DM strategy.
I would gain 1 follower.
And then lose 3.
It made no sense then...
But now I know followers are just numbers.
Connections are what really matters.
Wanna monetize your email list?
Be casual
I see too many people trying to be someone they're not.
Putting on this fake persona because they're running a business.
But you're doing it all wrong.
You need to write your emails like you're talking to a friend.
That's what sells.
How do I justify charging high ticket for my service?
I was scared to charge $1K+ for my service.
But I realized there was nothing to be scared about.
Yes. I charge high ticket.
But I ALSO make thousands for my clients.
Don't be afraid to charge what you're worth.
I don't have time to read a dictionary.
But I spend 3-4 hours reading daily.
Why?
Because I love stories-
And I could care less about the facts.
You don't realize this...
But 99% of content creation is the same.
Stop writing facts.
Start sharing some stories.
Daily reminder:
It's easier to sell 3 high ticket services a month than try to sell 1000+ low ticket products.
Stop fighting for pennies.
Leverage your story and start making big bucks.
*183 people liked your post*
I went viral (again) yesterday.
How?
I did this thing called building in public.
And no.
That doesn't mean just posting wins or what worked.
It means posting losses too.
Learn to be human.
Share your story and start building in public today.
I'm not like other "copywriters".
I have experience in what matters:
• Writing emails (I have my own list)
• Making sales (Closed $5K+ in 4 months)
Everyone says they want to stand out.
But so few do the work.
My point?
Start doing what matters.
A friend of mine with 1.4K followers quit last week.
Why?
He couldn't monetize.
How is that possible at his size?
He waited to create his offer.
And before he knew it...
He created a world that didn't want to buy.
Create your offer today.
It's the core of your business.
Storytelling is like bread.
It can be good on it's own-
But it's best when combined with other toppings and fillings.
So next time you decide to share a story-
Think longterm.
Have it build into your brand
It takes time-
But craft a world out of your story.
What has helped me grow by 250+ followers in just 28 days?
World building.
Just me posting and being my genuine self.
Nothing complicated.
Want to grow?
Start building your own unique world today.
I have a confession.
Yesterday I reused 4 of my posts.
I was tired.
I didn't have time to create new ones.
But you know what?
• I gained 20+ followers
• Spent the day with family
• Got thousands of impressions
Tell me again why you're not reusing your best content?
There's no right way to grow on X.
But there are some basics:
• Make friends
• Build relationships
• Create a community
See the pattern there?
Your tribe is what will carry you to the top.
I don't look at my average open rate anymore.
Why?
Open rate ≠ Sales.
So what do I look for in a successful email?
• Conversions (Sales)
• Links clicked (CTR)
• Replies
Email marketing isn't about your open rate.
It's about the community you've built and your results.
I love email marketing.
Why?
Because you don't need a certain amount of followers to build authority.
It's just you and your reader.
And to make a sale?
You just need to nurture a relationship with them.
What's not to love there?
You don't need a lot of money to succeed.
You just need a plan.
And some determination.
I've been building on X for 13 months...
But I tripled my following in the last 3 months.
How?
I created a simple schedule for my posts.
Build systems for yourself to win.
I reuse all my best content.
(And no I'm not being lazy)
Reusing your content
• Builds your authority
• Proves your knowledge
• Builds familiarity with your audience
If you want to build your community...
Find and create world building systems like this.
I could tell you how I used storytelling to make $3K in a single email.
Or I could tell you this:
Storytelling isn't about sharing the facts.
A good story is about sharing the emotional journey.
Email sequences are your most deadly copywriting weapon.
But 90% of copywriters make this 1 major mistake:
Before you even mention your product/service...
You have to sell the story.
You need to bring the pain to life.
If you don't...
You've ruined your whole sequence.
The
#1
reason most people don't start an email list is due to time.
And I used to worry about it too-
But the truth is emails are your backend money maker.
Looking down on emails is like saying you don't need tires for your car.
It just makes no sense.
Confidence is sexy.
It's just a rule of thumb for life itself.
So if you want to boost your email sales-
Be confident.
Know your offer helps people.
Promote yourself without shame.
I guarantee you'll have more fun writing-
And attract more people to your offer.
People wayyy dumber than you are making more money than you.
Why?
Because they're not afraid to fail.
Create a bias for action.
Show up and do your best every dang day.
That's the only way to do anything meaningful.
"Are you even a copywriter?"
My heart stopped.
Am I really that bad? Do I have no talent as a copywriter?
Yes. My first email flopped.
But I stuck to it. I started writing daily. I leveled up my skills.
And now I make thousands for my clients.
Don't give up on yourself.
You don't realize this.
But the audience you build makes a huge impact on your brand.
In the last 28 days I gained 226 followers.
Which is pretty insane.
But my engagement?
It's stayed about the same as before.
Be careful with what metrics you decide to chase.
Here's the truth.
Writing isn't hard.
You're just overcomplicating it.
Start talkin like you do with your friends.
Keep it casual.
But instead speak with authority.
That's how you can speak to your reader and build trust.
