They’re talking about “chikan” (TV Asahi, Morning Show). One of the commentators, a young man, was the one who said: “we tend to blame girls and women for wearing skirts which shames them into silence, when we should be shaming the perpetrators.” Wednesday shows are the best.

There's this misunderstanding that, if a rapist does something good in the world (build a school, cure a disease, etc), that automatically gives them a pass forever. It doesn't. It just means a rapist built a school, cured a disease, etc. It doesn't mean they're not a rapist.
