Sh AbdurRahman Mu’allamy for many years in his later years would be in this Library in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah. Hafidh al-Hakame met him here and al-Mu’allamy even supervised the printing of some of his books whilst Hafidh returned to Jizan.

One thing I would advise all students studying abroad - Madinah, Riyadh, Egypt etc - is to have like a diary book where you mention key events and benefits learnt in that event or related to it. Mention dates, places, names.. you will look back a decade later and cherish it.
