A member of the Jersey Militia reenactment group was seen firing on the French boats with a musket from Elizabeth Castle this morning.
It's after the flotilla of French fishermen who blockaded Jersey's main harbour returned to open water.

Guernsey's rescue teams are searching the English Channel to try and find any signs of the plane lost near Alderney carrying Emiliano Sala and pilot Dave Ibbotson. Captain Dave Barker, Guernsey's Harbourmaster says they're looking into 4 possibilities of what may have happened.
Jersey's very own Henry Cavill was back on the island today to take part in this year's Durrell Challenge.
He was there alongside 600 runners, raising money for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
