The
@HouseNGR
and the
@cenbank
have agreed that a time limit will no longer apply to the validity of old naira notes after the expiration of the February 10 deadline set by the apex bank.
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
The above statement by the criminal gang in the HoR is misleading and criminally intended to deceive gullible citizens and blackmail
@cenbank
.
Any attempt by HoR to debase this policy will be resisted and we would start with the members in our various States
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
After 10th February, you can't deposit the old Naira notes in commercial banks but only at CBN branch. You will also have to fulfill some conditions before you can deposited them with the CBN.
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
We heard what Emefiele said!! If this was not in the video we watched, we expect a CBN circular to this effect. Stating and cancelling the 7-day ultimatum they gave originally!! A communique of a meeting is not law or binding on citizens. Thank you 🙏
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
Why are you people fighting central bank . Atleast you can buy your vote electronically. That's all you know how to do . Useless and selfish set of people .SMH 😒
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
This doesn't make sense to me. One of the objectives of CBN cashless policy is to prevent vote buying. With this development, this motive will be defeated. Which means politicians can buy votes on election day, & the cash given to buy votes will be taken to the bank for new notes
@HouseNGR
@cenbank
I just see a group of political actors taking advantage of the misery being expressed by citizens on the phased introduction of new naira notes for leverage to truncate the desired goal.
