On Sunday morning on behalf of @FairtradeHxUK , I presented Clive with a very special award in his wife Kay’s memory, thanking him of all he has continued to do since she passed away. They both worked so hard to champion #Fairtrade and we wouldn’t be a Fairtrade town without them.

(1/2) @FigenMurray , the mother of Martyn Hett murdered in the Manchester Arena terror attack, walked 200 miles to meet with the Prime Minister on the 7th anniversary of the terror atrocity. The PM promised Figen he would introduce Martyn's Law before the summer recess.

I commend @WestYorksPolice recently making 62 County Lines arrests, taking weapons/drugs off the streets. I would be appalled if this type of operation ‘where large numbers of arrests may take place’ was paused in order to ‘ease the pressure within the criminal justice system.’

This is indefensible. Law and Order has been decimated under this Government. And to make the Police Chiefs Council write to forces was cowardly, that instruction should have come directly from Ministers. Shameful
