President of
@Action4SA
. Former Mayor of Johannesburg. Hammanskraal-born Entrepreneur and Black Like Me Founder. Family man. Proudly South African ๐ฟ๐ฆ
We all have had enough of the empty promises and more of the same from the political establishment.
This election, I am asking you to allow us to make Action possible in communities across South Africa, because only action will fix South Africa.

Today, we celebrate 38 years of marriage.
@ConnieMashaba
, I owe so much to you. I would never have been the man I am today, without your love and support.
Here's to many more years together as we build the South Africa of our dreams โค
This is so deeply hurting, so bold and so TRUE. my deepest Respect for you Sir. I am inspired to see the Youth being prepared to talk truth to power when adults are busy focusing on benefitting from corrupt patronage networks
What a moment for South Africa.
The ANC has lost control of all three Gauteng metros for the first time in our democratic history.
This is the New Dawn.
Not that nonsense abo Ramaphosa. Let the work begin.
I just want to say; I love you my fellow South Africans ๐ฟ๐ฆ
We have a long road ahead of us, but we are on the right path.
Thank you for supporting us. We are so excited to bring ActionSA to your province.

Today,
@ConnieMashaba
and I celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary.
Connie has been my rock through thick and thin over the past four decades. I am grateful to God for giving me the wisdom to make this commitment all those years ago.
Thank you for everything,ย myย love.
I want to take a moment to say Thank You.
I don't think anyone expected that a one year old party could garner this kind of support.
We as
@Action4SA
are humbled.
The road to fixing SA is long, but we are on the right track.
This is only the beginning ๐๐๐พ

I am proud to attend my daughter's graduation ceremony, with a Master's in Science, Business Design & Innovation, at Carthage College in Wisconsin, USA, yesterday
Stage 4 loadshedding implemented on the day that 2021 Matric exams start.
That tells you everything you need to know about the South African government.
Our children deserve better.
On a personal and serious note. Please allow me to Celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday today.
I wake up this morning with a deep sense of appreciation, thanking God for the role Connie played in my life ever since I 1st saw her in 1979.
It has been a Great Journey
Looking at this photograph it feels like just few weeks ago. I wake up today, I am 60 years old. I am grateful to God, my parents, family, community and my country for shaping this life over the last 60 years. I am indebted to ALL
@ConnieMashaba
Good morning โ๏ธ Itโs my last day as the number one resident of this beautiful City.
I will miss this job very dearly. Thank you for the opportunity and for trusting me with this privilege.
๐ป Iโll be doing a few interviews today starting with
@MorningLiveSABC
at 07h10.
Despite all the challenges of life, today 3 March, Connie & I are celebrating our 36th year wedding anniversary. God protected us. We are blessed & grateful
@ConnieMashaba
Today, I celebrate 42 years of marriage to Connie Mashaba.
I am so grateful that on the 3rd of March 1982, God gave me the wisdom to make this commitment to you.
Each day with you reminds me of the blessing and strength you bring into my life. Your grace and resilience inspireโฆ
People who live in houses with high walls find it easy to call adherence to the rule of law, xenophobia.
Every ActionSA voter and supporter welcomes the people of the world, but they must come here legally, and when here, respect our laws.
If anything, ActionSAโs successes in suburban areas are indicative that xenophobia (or rather, *Afrophobia*) transcends both race and class in South Africa. Very sad indeed.
Ntate Maimane & President CR, Please, letโs use tomorrow Sunday, to celebrate the outstanding performance of the BOKS, but come Monday, we need to focus on fixing our economy. Over 10 million of our people have no dignity of providing for their families
I've noted speculation about my political future. I'd like to clarify that while I respect political parties I've worked in JHB, I won't be joining any political party. My interest is to serve the residents of Joburg to the best of my abilities until 27 Nov & then get some rest.
One of the proudest moment of life. I get stop everywhere by insourced Cleaners & Security Gurads, calling me their Dad. One important story to share: I was recently stopped by 1 of them, tears in her eyes. Her excitement: boosting about getting a pay slip for the first time
As I wake up this morning, unemployed, still feeling exhausted, ready to take a deserved break, please allow me to express my deepest appreciation to the 5m residents of
@CityofJoburgZA
, 58m people of SA, 7b people of the world and media for this privilege of serving my country
Yes, we could have easily stuck with my nomination as Mayor to prove a point, & allow the DA to give municipality to the ANC, but does that help the residents?
Producing stable & effective govts now lies with the DA and its ability to act in the interests of South Africans.
Those who call me Xenophobic for asking for the Rule of Law, they are EVIL in my world. They probably benefit from this EVIL:
1. Young girls turned into prostitution by drug lords
2. Communities destroyed by Youth affected drugs
3. Counterfeit goods destroying our economy
I will not apologise for trying to clean up the Jozi CBD.
Once I come back as Mayor of Joburg we will intensify the raids to get rid of criminals in our city!
SA is a very interesting country. Black people can be oppressed & thereafter insulted in many forms by some people, but MUST just move on & not look back. How is that humanly possible?
Initial results are promising.
For a one-year-old party,
@Action4SA
has been able to win votes across communities.
Historic Voting District wins in Soweto, Stanger in KZN, Laudium & Centurion in Tshwane, & suburbs Joburg South, & we did it without our name on the ballot paper!
Donโt try divert the genuine question being asked here, and call her a European.
If you believe you have the skills, why not use them to develop your own country. Please, respect us South Africans to deal with our own issues.
You chase away whites in Zimbabwe, and now want toโฆ
Dr Bongi Kaunda ๐ฟ๐ผ ๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ฉ
The country owes an official apology to thousands, if not millions of our young girls who are turned into forced prostitution by international drug syndicates. We are not going to turn a blind eye on such evil crime happening under our watch
@HermanMashaba

I am deeply hurt and devastated to wake up this morning to learn that not a single criminal is arrested after the blatant disregard of our countryโs laws yesterday in the Inner City. I would have expected the city to have been closed off and all criminals behind bars by now
Shocking development at Germiston Magistrate Court. EFF here to support an illegal Nigerian immigrant involved in properties high jacking, GBV, drugs, intimidating, etc.
Sad state of affairs.
@EFFSouthAfrica
What an exceptional time spent with
@MmusiMaimane
last night. The man is still more than committed & charged up to serve our country. We invite your participation in The People's Dialogue from next week
What happened yesterday in Joburg is deeply disappointing. The 5 million residents of the City had no say in who got elected. Politics is not working for people. We need an approach that puts residents first.
Mr President
@CyrilRamaphosa
, at a time when our country requires decisive leadership, you are nowhere to be found.
Not only is this 1hr and 30 min delay disrespectful, it is deeply worrying for every single South African looking for guidance.
#CoronaVirusSA
If you think calling for people in SA to be documented is xenophobic, then either you don't understand the meaning of the word, or you are using it for political expediency.
I welcome the people of the world, but come here legally & respect our laws.
I won't apologise for that.

Another proud moment for a Husband. It is my great pleasure to be associated with this special woman. Just graduated with an MBA from Wits Business School on Friday, at the age of 60.
A real inspiration indeed!
I have just heard President Cyril Ramaphosa on 702 Radio that Eskom load shedding is something we should not panic about, and that we should take collective responsibility for finding the solution. Mr President, I personally reject with contempt any Responsibility for Eskom woes
Didn't General Bheki Cele say that anyone caught smoking in public would have to produce the receipt to prove they bought it before lockdown?
Bloody hypocrites!
My condolences to family and colleagues of Jackson Mthembu.
We must not allow politics to forget our humanity. Giants are falling to this disease.
May he rest in peace๐ฏ
When I started as Mayor of Jozi, there are some in that office that told me certain buildings in the CBD are "no-go-areas".
I said NO chance!
There was modern day slavery, human trafficking, prostitution going on in those buildings.
They were protected by POLITICIANS!

It's only VBS looters that see a man carrying a bag and assume it must be filled with cash.
Don't bring your looting tendencies here.
Unlike you, I don't hide my hard-earned money in my couch to avoid SARS.
I am a proud, law-abidingย citizen.
On the left, standing in line to vote for a better future in 1994.
On the right, 26 years later standing in line to get a food parcel in 2020.
Those elected to serve us, have failed us.
It's time for a party that puts public service first, and throws the hyenas in jail!
Minister Pandor, please get the South African Law Enforcement Agencies to do their Constitutional duty. The Nigerian Government cannot run South Africa on our behalf. This is one of the most absurd statements in Human history to be made by sitting a government
No person is above the law!
Cyril Ramaphosa must show respect to South Africans and resign, or face impeachement.
We cannot afford more wasted years with another President facing criminal charges.
Our country needs ethical leadership.
We donโt care how tall you stand with him, but not here in South Africa. We canโt allow anyone here to divide our nation and you expect us to be silenced.
I fully share your South African Political maturity and understanding. EFF has played such an important role in the current political landscape. Happy birthday to the EFF
The
@EFFSouthAfrica
have shaken SA politics. I may not agree with their policy positions but there is no way you can turn a blind eye on their impact. Happy birthday fighters.
@Julius_S_Malema
Iโm deeply saddened by the passing of King Goodwill Zwelithini.
I had the honour of knowing the King, and recall a visit he paid to my factory when I was a younger entrepreneur. I admired him greatly.
My condolences to his family, and the Zulu Nation.
May he rest in peace ๐ฏ
My personal deepest respect to Mama Winnie Mandelaโ family for insisting on
@Julius_S_Malema
to speak at her Funeral, Despite serious misgivings from certain quarters. The same forces denied me an opportunity to bid farewell to my brother Ronnie Mamoepa

๐ฟ๐ฆ Country first. Politics last.
Today,
@Action4SA
Councillors across the country are doing what needs to be done to unseat the ANC, and put South Africans ahead of petty politics.

Anyone who wants a United Africa, please, please go and try in countries that got their independence before South Africa. We are happy to watch developments and join once tried and tested by experienced countries
Today's judgement is a victory for the Rule of Law in South Africa.
It is clear for all to see that
#JacobZuma
โs attempts to ignore, undermine and destroy the rule of law will not be tolerated in our democratic society.
Nobody is above the law!
If you want to call me xenophobic, then you must tell those who crafted our constitution that they are xenophobic too, because our Constitution is clear;
If you come to South Africa, you must do so legally, and when you are here, you must respect our laws!
South Africa needs more patriotic leaders that love their country first, before anything else.
This thing of party first, country last must come to an end.
If you feel inferior to others, please don't impose that onto me.
Own your inferiority complex. That's step one in getting past it.
@Action4SA
is a proud multi-racial organisation.
We are led by black, white, indian & coloured South Africans, who all want to fix this country.
Imagine a one year old political party giving the established parties sleepless nights.
We are only just getting started, and your chest pains are only going to become stronger ๐ฟ๐ฆ

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Council has this morning passed a resolution to expropriate 37 abandoned factories across the City of Johannesburg, including 16 near Alexandra.
Happy birthday to a Special Woman in my life
@ConnieMashaba
. Someone I have known for almost 40 years, over 36 years of which being a wife and a friend
Please don't impose your inferiority complex onto me.
There are so many challenges in Zimbabwe, why don't you start there?
Perhaps this is why it has been so hard to turn Zim around when "award-winning journalists" find it so easy to support racialised misinformation campaigns.
Under ActionSA, prison won't be a paid vacation at the expense of South Africans.
Prisoners will work. They will labour to fix the communitiesย theyย broke!
Across the world, governments are putting their country, and their people FIRST.
Yet we are insulted when we say
#PutSouthAfricansFirst
.
Listen carefully to this. It's time to build South Africa for South Africans ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐ฅ
Today, 1 September 2019, the City of Johannesburg welcomes 1 879 cleaners who start their first day of work after being insourced and who will gain greatly from employee benefits such as pension, medical aid, and an increased take home salary.
Few tips for the President to grow the Economy:
1. Educate the nation
2. Bring back the Rule of Law
3. Review draconian Labour Laws destroying SMMEs
4. Encourage building strong families
5. Encourage culture of hard work
6. Declare Corruption Public Enemy number One
Our economy will never grow in a state of chaos and lawlessness. We cannot lift South Africans out of poverty like this.
Nearly every South African agrees - the

advert is racially insensitive & hurtful.
But, we canโt resort to violence & anarchy.
A friend just sent me this article. Initially, I thought of just ignoring it because I saw it some years back already. In reflection, it made me angry at the ANC and ZANU PF for confirming some long-held stereotypes. I am now more determined than ever to dispel such. By ACTION.
Cyril's election means nothing to the people of this country.
It's the same criminal syndicate looting South Africans to fill their pockets.
The only way South Africa will prosper is if we remove this criminal organisation.
2024 is our last chance.
