I've struggled with feeling guilty for complaining about my Long Covid. I can walk, train and generally live a normal life. Others are fed through a tube. But I don't think it's greedy to wish for a clear head & energy at 25 years old. No suffering is unworthy.

@HarryBoby4 I can’t exercise, I have fatigue that is very impactful on my quality of life and live with a feeling of general malaise. But I find your posts informative, sympathetic and hopeful irrespective of our symptom differences. Good on you for continuing to raise awareness 👍

@HarryBoby4 No one gets it. Last summer I lost 60% of my hair. My sister bought me a hat and told me to wear it because I was making her uncomfortable.

@HarryBoby4 The founder of the @Tempi_Stiftung is very keen on better incorporating the voices of the healthy and mildly affected. No guilt needed, but action much appreciated! Maybe as many mild cases as debilitating ones. I had a long very mild phase for my ME.

@HarryBoby4 No need to feel guilty everyone’s experience of it is different. Everyone who manages some sort of recovery may have valuable insights.

@HarryBoby4 The 'suffering Olympics' is something that reduces any community to in-fighting. It's all valid, but this post shows that you still have empathy and an understanding of how others also suffer with the illness. Spotlighting is vital.

@HarryBoby4 I agree. No matter the extent of impact, we all have the right to be angry, sad, to grieve. I do hwr think in terms of research, there needs to be focus on why there is this difference of impact. Plus, in terms of raising awareness of #LongCovid , this clarification is important

@HarryBoby4 Don’t feel shame. Just keep perspective. Like you’re doing here. It’ll help you to remain grateful for what you do have. While also holding space to mourn what you don’t. And as a more able bodied person, you can continue to advocate for those who can’t. 🙏🏾❤️

@HarryBoby4 When patients say to me "there's people worse off than me" I answer them "there may be, but it's not a competition". I hope it helps, and I hope you get to make a full recovery

@HarryBoby4 There is no hierarchy of suffering, being mindful of different levels of severity is enough.
