Attempting to do anything you haven’t done before is always uncomfortable, and usually scary, but it is ALWAYS worth it. Fear disappears in the midst of action, and a better version of yourself awaits you on the other side of your fear. Feel the fear, and do it anyway…
When life gets difficult, remember that you are always exactly where you are supposed to be, experiencing what you need to experience so that you can learn what you must learn, to be able to create the life you truly want. Always.
Here’s an affirmation for today.
I will never let my circumstances define my emotional well-being. I will not let my outer world dictate my internal world. I will choose to be the happiest, most grateful, optimistic and at peace I could ever be - even during the difficult times.
Attempting to do anything you haven’t done before is always uncomfortable, and usually scary, but it is ALWAYS worth it. Fear disappears in the midst of action, and a better version of yourself awaits you on the other side of your fear. Feel the fear, and do it anyway…
Be grateful for your challenges, setbacks, adversity and disappointments. Be grateful for your opportunity to overcome every single one, because doing so contributes to your growth & your ability to help others overcome theirs.

Your current life situation—no matter how difficult or unpleasant—is merely an opportunity for you to learn, grow, and become better than you’ve ever been before.
Any time you feel miserable, it’s because you’re focused on what you don’t want (fears), what you don’t have (envy), or what you don’t like (complaints). To feel amazing flip your focus upside down. Focus on what you DO want, what you DO have and what you DO like.

Every result or goal you want to achieve is preceded by a process. The secret to success is to remain unconditionally committed to your (day-to-day) process without being emotionally attached to your (day-to-day) results. Be emotionally engaged, but not emotionally attached.
What we focus on becomes our reality. When we focus on that which is out of our control, we feel out of control. This causes us to feel stressed, get depressed, and experience anxiety. Let’s focus our energy on what we can control, which begins with how we show up each day.
One of my affirmations for 2022:
I choose to live in a state of fearlessness because I can handle ANYTHING that comes my way, so there is nothing to fear.
I refuse to worry about anything that’s out of my control. Instead, I actively create the life I want & enjoy every moment.
Here’s today’s affirmation:
“I am just as worthy, deserving, and capable of achieving everything I want for my life, and I will prove that today by living in alignment with my highest priorities.”

Consider that most people are doing the best they can with who they are, just like we’re doing the best we can with who we are.
So let’s give others grace. Let’s love them unconditionally. Let’s treat them with empathy and compassion. And let’s do the same for ourselves.
In life, you can choose to be stressed out or you can be blissed out. The choice is yours.
It ultimately has nothing to do with what’s going on outside of you and everything to do with what’s going on inside of you.
#ChooseBliss
I am… I am healthy. I am happy. I am at peace. I am divine. And yet, I am nobody. I am NOT Hal. I am NOT an author. I am a human being, fair enough. I am consciousness. I am God-consciousness—a droplet in the ocean of God, made of the same stuff. I am spirit. And so are you.
"A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of a branch breaking, because its trust is not in the branch but in its own wings. Always believe in yourself." —Unknown
How we live our lives give those we love permission to do the same. Thus living to our full potential may be the greatest gift we can give to another. That is a responsibility that none of us can take lightly, and it is up to every single one of us to give our best each day.
Don't mistake your life situation with your LIFE.
Your life situation is merely your current, temporary, changing circumstances.
Your LIFE is everything else (all that you have, are, and can become).
Focus on appreciating & expanding the limitless abundance that is your LIFE.
Remember you are in control of how you experience life. It’s not dependent on what’s going on around you, but inside of you. Be present. Be grateful. Practice daily physical, mental, emotional & spiritual self-care. Let’s love the life we have, because it’s the only life we have.

Mottos for 2023:
• Feel the fear and do it anyway.
• Feel the self doubt and do it anyway.
• Feel like now is not the perfect time and get started anyway.
Imagine the mental & emotional freedom you’d experience if...
Nothing bothered you...
Nothing offended you...
Nothing embarrassed you...
Now consider that you are the one who decides whether or not you are bothered, offended, or embarrassed.
Is it time to free yourself?
Every single one of us already has everything we need in this moment to be the happiest we could ever be.
It’s called life.
Take a deep breathe, close your eyes, & find that place inside of you that is just grateful to be alive. 🙏🏼❤️
In case you’re feeling down or having a tough day today (I’m certainly having one), something to keep in mind any time you’re feeling off:
A bad day doesn’t equal a bad life.
This too shall pass. Focus on what you have to be grateful for. A grateful life is a great life. 🙏🏼❤️
“On particularly rough days, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100%, and that’s pretty good.”
—Unknown
I don’t know about you, but I’m much more effective when I keep things simple (and easy to remember). 😄
So to make 2022 a great year I’m focusing on these ABCs:
• Accept life exactly as it is
• Be grateful for everything
• Create daily progress (toward my goals)
Easy peasy
If you want more energy, put yourself in situations where energy is required. Your body will naturally respond and always produce the energy you need, but not if you’re just sitting around complaining about not having enough energy.
Here’s another one of my affirmations for 2022:
I will not allow my circumstances to determine my emotional well-being. I will choose to be the happiest, most grateful, most optimistic, and at peace I could ever be - especially during the most difficult times of my life. 🙏🏼❤️
If you’re feeling stressed or depressed, ask yourself if you’re living in the present moment, or if you’re listening to the voice in your head.
I find that when I feel painful emotions, I’m almost always in my head.
When I return to the present moment, I immediately feel peace.
Life isn’t about wishing you were somewhere, or someone that you’re not. Life is about enjoying where you are, loving who you are, and consistently improving both.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” —Viktor Frankl
“You have to break the habit of thinking that the solution to your problems is to rearrange things outside. The only permanent solution to your problems is to go inside and let go of the part of you that seems to have so many problems with reality.” —Michael Singer
We always have the choice to be stressed, angry, or fearful about outcomes that we cannot control.
We also have the choice to remain calm, relaxed, and at peace with outcomes that we cannot control.
Either way, the choice is always ours. 🙏🏼❤️
Every day is the most important of your life, because you’ll never get those days back, and no one knows how many we have left.
With that in mind, I'm committed to be totally present and enjoy every moment (especially with my family) that I'm blessed to enjoy.
Who's with me?
Any beneficial activity that you know you should be doing but resist doing because you dislike it, you can learn to like by simply doing it consistently. Start today.
Life isn’t about wishing you were somewhere, or someone that you’re not. Life is about enjoying where you are, loving who you are, and consistently improving both.
My daughter just found out that I often write quotes and asked me if she could too, and if I would post her first quote. 😃
“Live, laugh, love, learn, and determine your life to the fullest.”
— Sophia Elrod
Life isn’t about wishing you were somewhere, or someone that you’re not. Life is about enjoying where you are, loving who you are, and consistently improving both.
“The truth is, everything will be okay as soon as you are okay with everything. And that’s the only time everything will be okay.”
—Michael Singer, author of
The Untethered Soul
When we focus on things that are out of our control, we feel out of control.
Let’s stop creating and experiencing emotional distress over things that we have little to no control over and instead focus on taking care of our selves, our loved ones, and our communities. 🙏🏼❤️
Who else is playing dolls this morning?! 😁❤️👨👧👦 I’ve realized that a huge key to nurturing my relationship with my kids is simply doing what THEY want to do, and often joining in the fun they’re already having.
Worrying about what might happen in the future causes you to experience your troubles many times, whereas you are meant to only go through them when they actually occur. So, instead of constantly worrying about what you don’t want, be present to what you already have.
“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed.
Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitide.”
—Dennis Waitley
Unsuccessful people use bad days as an excuse to create more of the same, while successful people learn from their mistakes and rarely let one bad day turn into two.
When we focus on that which is out of our control, we feel out of control. This can cause us to experience unhealthy anxiety, fear, & depression.
Let’s focus our attention and energy on that which we can control, beginning with how we show up for those we love and those we lead.
The A-B-C’s of Living Life’s Purpose: A=Accept all things you can’t change. B=Be Grateful for all that you have. C=Constantly create progress towards to your goals & dreams.
Know that wherever you are in your life right now is both temporary, and exactly where you are supposed to be (otherwise you would be somewhere else). Be at peace with where you are while taking your next step toward where you want to be.
If you’re struggling, be vulnerable and ask for help. We are often afraid that others will judge us, which is really just a fear of being unloved. The irony is, when you are vulnerable and authentic, people love you even more.
When you blame something outside of you for your emotional state, you render yourself powerless to change it.
Regain your power by owning that how you feel isn’t determined by anyone or anything outside of you.
You can choose to be at peace, grateful and happy, no matter what.
YOU are destined to accomplish great things – things bigger and better than you have yet to even imagine. You are intelligent, capable, and YOU are just as deserving of extraordinary success as any other person.
Unsuccessful people use bad days as an excuse to create more of the same, while successful people learn from their mistakes and rarely let one bad day turn into two.
There is nothing to fear because you cannot fail.
You can only learn, grow, and become better than you’ve ever been before.
So drop the fear and do the things you’re been putting off.
"Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you."
—Jim Rohn
