Itβs purposely designed to be anti homeless. Thereβs so many examples all around cities. In Glasgow the βseatsβ on subway platforms are at an angle and if you sit on them you just slide off within seconds.

Just look at the stylish metal spikes around offices or arms on modern benches

Yeah it didnβt occur to me at first as Wigan doesnβt have a lot of that but as soon as someone said it, I clocked it right away. How repulsive our society is

Same with those narrow rails that are barely bum width apart and curved seats on park benches.

I've tried, but it is impossible to get within any approximation of 'comfy' on them. I think I achieved 'Perilously Perched' once, and considered that a win.
