has appointed HH Muhammadu Sanusi II as the Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU). He would provide symbolic and substantive leadership in raising the profile of KASU which is transiting to a multicampus structure.
The 23 local govts in Kaduna State have paid salaries for September and October 2019 in accordance with the new national minimum wage. KDSG has also guaranteed the N1.8bn salary arrears the local govts owe 8500 primary school teachers; these will be paid over the next one week.
The Kaduna State Government has declared free education for all female students in Public Secondary Schools in Kaduna state.
This is aimed at getting rid of the hindrances to girl-child education.
The free Basic Education Policy in the state for every child remains.
There is no hisbah in Kaduna State. If there is criminal conduct anywhere, a responsible medium should report it accurately, not coat it in religion or use events and photos from other states to prop up a false story

As the KDSG begins distribution of food and other forms of palliatives to its most vulnerable population to help ease the effects of the lockdown imposed, the govt is calling on well meaning Nigerians to contribute to ensure that the poorest among us are able to eat decent meals.
The Kaduna State Government has decided to temporarily relax the restriction of movement, from 3pm today to 12 midnight, tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd April 2020. This is to enable people to stock up on food and other essentials.
Kaduna Scholarships have moved beyond the token bursaries of not more than N15,000 per year, for each student.
