Jaylen Warren was so frustrated that he couldn’t play & help the team win the Big 12 championship game that he walked from the Stillwater airport back to his dorm on a bad ankle after the team arrived home. It’s 3.2 miles. Teammates circled back to offer him a ride. He refused.

Today is disappointing. But if you appreciate Coach Boynton, there's one thing to do: fill GIA for the NIT for Coach Boynton and get him home to coach in the NIT. He grew up going to games in Madison Square Garden, can't imagine how special coaching in the Garden would be to him.

Want to know how far we’ve come? OSU outgained Texas 170-1 in the 4th quarter. We had a tailback, Jaylen Warren, rush for 118 yds in THE 4TH QUARTER. OSU dominated Texas physically in the 4th quarter on their home field. Who would’ve thought that would be possible 20 yrs ago?

Every time I see @thacoachmike , I am completely blown away by his ability to personally connect with every person he encounters. It amazes me. A very special person. Would I want a teenage son to be coached and guided by him through college? Absolutely. Positively. Yes.

Last year, OSU was 20-11 in regular season, 9-9 Big 12. That team was 5-10 vs the NCAA field and 1-7 vs ranked foes. This year's OSU team finished 18-13, 8-10, but is 7-13 vs teams in @ESPNLunardi projected field, & 6-5 against ranked foes. Pokes were securely in field last year

Today was emotional. During my visit to my high school @ClarkCoIndians , I caught up with 2 of my all-time favorite teachers, Greg & Ella Wirsig. They taught me how to write, how to communicate, how to perform. Thank you doesn’t even come close to expressing my gratitude to them.

The moral of the story: enjoy the fact that the Cowboys are in this position on a regular basis. It is a very difficult thing to do. Being ranked in the top 10 at this point could be equated to a Sweet 16 or Elite 8 appearance in basketball.

In the last 11 seasons, there are only eight teams that have been ranked in the top 10 in the AP poll at this point in the year in at least five of those 11 seasons. The schools: Oklahoma State, Oregon, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia, Clemson and Oklahoma. Nice company.
