@Gilition have they changed the look of the muppet movie on disney+ at all?

@woke_oak The Muppet Movie uses the 2013 Bluray transfer which does look pretty good compared to the DVD release.

Another issue is that the color, saturation, contrast is very inconsistent. These are all from the Cleo Lane episode.

@Gilition @no_muppets Something like that happened to The Original Star Wars Trilogy, a lot of CGI modifications in the current versions of those movies, and it may all be Disney’s fault. I guess the only way to watch The Muppet Show unaltered is doing it on YouTube.

@TRG495 I feel like the color on the left could be boosted a little bit more (Time Life had slightly brighter colors) but much better than the Disney+ copy.

@Gilition Much of the blame should go to Illuminate Hollywood, which appears to be the post-production house behind this upscale Aside from the egregious color correction, they also converted the original 50i frame rate to 24p
