I disagree. I think everybody understood that they each had intended roles, but having too much freedom blurred the lines between them. DICE just went for something and it didn't work out. Another big factor was that they were cringe af, especially on release, good lord.

Lissiles in #Battlefield2042 are out of control at the moment, the fact this guy can launch one from that close and still bend it and hit me is bananas. That sort of range is for the M5 to be used. I'm pretty sure their new larger hitbox is a bit too generous.

On the bad side of S6 - DICE have nerfed Battlepass progression, presumably to keep you on the hamster wheel longer in the name of engagement and selling tier skips for EA. Don’t like this at all, BP progression was perfect before.

I think reload animations for a lot of the vault weapons in #Battlefield2042 need to be looked at. I've run into lots of situations like this where it feels like the animation has finished so I'll go to switch, but it actually has some strange delay and didn't finish at all😐

I hope DICE revert the vehicle spawn system back to the way it used to be for the next game. The current token system just helps promote homogenization across maps and causes balance problems. It's just an illusion of freedom, in reality, you just pick the best vehicle.

A lot of Vault weapons appear have been very rushed out into #Battlefield2042 With some simple testing on the MTAR, the heavy barrel nerfs the 5BTK range from 50 to 40 meters. Yes, the flash suppressor gives you better range, recoil, and rate of fire. Surely this is wrong.

I've been seeing a lot of opinions along the lines of 'how is nerfing Irish's gadget going to get him picked more?' Well, probably because now you can't cover a single choke with one Irish, so you'll need more of them = pick rate goes up, in theory at least.

A little before and after of my bathroom project 🤓 It was certainly a challenge learning how to tile, do masonry, woodwork, electric, and some light plumbing stuff (I had plumbers do the new pipework). It also took me WAY too long (don't ask the wife), but it's finally done!
