Honestly, are there any perfect DOUBLE ALBUMS out there? 🤔
And I mean, HONESTLY, no fillers/fluffs/throwaways.
The only one I can think of is The Clash "London Calling."
To me, it's a once-in-a-lifetime album/double album. 🤷🏻♀️

Ending 1987 with this masterpiece:
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: TUNNEL OF LOVE
Not as flashy as Born To Run, not as stark as Nebraska, this album is his most understated.
It speaks to me on a personal level like few others ever have.
"Tougher Than The Rest" is top 5 Springsteen song.
With all the love I see for Pearl Jam's new album, which was released almost 33 years after their debut, it got me wondering...

I just like giving people a heads up 😂😬
U2: Rattle & Hum (1988)

It has some great songs:
⭐️Desire
⭐️Hawkmoon 269
⭐️Love Rescue Me
⭐️All I Want Is You
⭐️Angel Of Harlem
Never understood why this album rates so low among fans🤷🏻♀️

Tom Scholz cowrote/wrote every song, played most all instruments, recorded/engineered all tracks.
3 hit singles:
⭐️More Than A Feeling

⭐️Peace Of Mind
Several people mentioned that this album is their favorite prog album. Honestly, I've never even heard of it. So...
This is what I'll be playing tonight.

80s Paul Simon: Graceland
90s U2: Achtung Baby
Year 1988
LIVING COLOUR: VIVID

FUN FACT: Mick Jagger produced 2 of the songs on the album.
Year 1979
LED ZEPPELIN: IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR
I love this album, even compared to their previous greats.
More synthy (sign of the times) and less heavy but every song is a banger!
Their last studio album.
Name one HEAVY METAL album that you love, top to bottom.
Mine: Iron Maiden "The Number Of The Beast"
My pick is cliché but there's no denying the greatness of this album.

The best AOR album of the 80s, the best album by a supergroup (I'll die on this hill).
Year 1989
DON HENLEY: END OF THE INNOCENCE
I cannot fully express how much I adore this album.
Some really beautiful songs on here: "Last Worthless Evening", "Heart Of The Matter", "End Of The Innocence".
