Adam Toledo was shot & killed while illegally possessing a firearm & turning toward an officer after fleeing down an alley. Officers were responding to a call of shots fired in the area. He was a threat to public safety. I commend the officers for their actions that night.

Since Friday in Chicago a CPD officer was shot while attempting to render aid to a shooting victim and a CFD paramedic was shot AT THE HOSPITAL while rendering aid to a shooting victim. Wtf. Crime is down though, right? Just ask Lori & David. They’ll tell ya.

While at dinner tonight with one of my friends who’s a CPD PO, a mom brought her little boy up to say hello & see the police car. It reminded me that there are still decent people in this city. I needed that after dealing with so much negativity. A well deserved PCI! 💙🚓💙
