It is so cool for Kelly and I to get to share the memories of 2008 with Allie and Jake. Allie was born in 2009 while I was still in Tampa. Jake in 2010 while I was with Oakland. Special couple of days for us in Tampa.

Dr Andrews is known as the greatest orthopedic surgeon ever. However it was the 2 times he kept me off the operating table that gave me an Auburn football career and an MLB career. Thank you for being the best at what you do Dr Andrews!

A baseball wife is an amazing thing. The only way to understand what she goes through is to experience it first hand. Kelly has been through it all with me—as a player now as a coach. Amazing wife and mother…she does it all. So thankful we chose to live this life together.

Big day for Jake today! He won his first medal in a ⁦ @uskidsgolf ⁩ tournament. Shot 41–on 9 holes and finished tied for 3rd. He just started playing in tournaments this spring. Proud of him. Lots of hard work starting to pay off!

Love this picture of my dad. 1979 Baltimore Colt’s. Beat the Bills that year on Oct 21st the day I was born and they gave him the game ball for me…I still have it. Proud he played in the NFL even prouder he’s been there for me as a dad every day of my life.

I have posted this picture before but it is perhaps my favorite of my dad and me from my childhood. He was a NFL and All SEC football player but was a better dad. “Be firm be fair and be there” was his parenting motto and he was all 3 to me. Love this man! Happy Fathers Day!

Sometimes when life is crazy the best advice I have received came from a verse my mother kept on our refrigerator when I was growing up. Psalms 46:10. “Be still and know that I am God”. Be in awe and take rest in the fact that He is on the throne.

My daughter Allie had a big day yesterday at AJHS. She was Recognized for AB honor roll and as the top math student in her math class. She was then honored with the Golden Eagle award which is given to one girl and one boy who best represent the ideals of AJHS. Proud Papa!
