Folks - there’s not much else I can offer you now. Today’s Round 3 games is the last of the heavy lifting for this account for 2023.
I’ll be in and out with a few bits over the next few weeks but that’s pretty much me done until Round 1 of the Allianz Football Leagues in 2024.
That brings an end to this account's spring activity.
Will be back as always for the Hurling SFC Round Robins but the bulk of the work for 2022 is done.
Thanks for engaging as always, for the feedback, and for following - there's now enough of you sell out Fraher Field.
GRMA!
And there it was, gone. This account’s role in the 2024 Allianz Leagues is at an end.
The story of the League for me has to be Kildare - how do they fix that? I’m not even sure if they’ve hit rock bottom yet. I feel Division 1 was all shadow boxing and think Derry still have
Tone. Deaf.
Remarkable how out of sync the GAA is with its own community.
Every year the GAA presents another “fuck you” to an entire generation of its members.

That’s it from this account for 2020. For reasons I’ll be skipping the hurling round robins this year.
Will be back tweeting whenever the GAA post their Master Fixture List for 2021. Winter well and maybe we’ll see the leagues back in January.
Thanks for engaging.
The Incredibly Scientific and Very Serious 32 County Table returns for 2024.
What a start to this imaginary table for Ulster AND Leitrim. And not a single Munster county in the top half.
This week's table is sponsored by the folks over at

who really love this
The First 32 County Table of 2023.
And there she is, Lovely Leitrim, standing atop it, looking down on the rest of us with that cocky Leitrim grin they've been doing since 1994.

There’s Dublin.
There’s Derry.
And there’s everyone else.
A real pity Derry will have to flagellate themselves through Ulster while Dublin and Kerry will make it to an AI Semi Final well rested.
A seated ticket for the Leinster Final is €40.
€40 for, no offence intended to any opposition Dublin face in Leinster, a forgone conclusion is scandalous.
On the pitch, and off it, the Leinster Council has fluffed its lines when it comes to its premier football competition.
If a team finds itself in the Tailteann Cup it’s because that’s the level they are operating at.
It’s a national title for teams who realistically have zero chance of ever winning Sam.
Embrace it, compete and win it.

Unfortunately and regrettably, tonight’s Division One League Final is OFF, as Kilmacud Crokes have informed the County Board that they cannot field a team.
The game will be remembered for Cass’s wonder point. But Michael Murphy stopped it from going over the sideline - by millimeters. My standout moment from a career of nothing but standout moments.
Folks, thanks so much for all your generosity.
All the coffees will go towards: a new website and domain fees (during the winter I intend on going into the archives as far back as 2008 and hosting it all there); a HD Restream subscription; and better equipment for doing all of

What is Dublin’s Home Venue?
On paper the answer to that question is Parnell Park. In reality the answer to that question is Croke Park. A home venue is defined as a venue in which a sports team play its designated home fixtures.
In 2011 Dublin made the (brilliant) decision to

"LOL What A Very Silly Table" is just some of the great feedback received for The Weekly 32 County Table.

I wonder how the GAA will interpret Croke Park’s neutrality for Round 3 of the Sam Maguire Cup. For the Super 8s Dublin were able to use it as their home and neutral venue.
Don’t even @ me about Parnell Park. Croke Park has been the Dubs home venue since 2011. End of.
