The thing I love about Vinland is that it display its themes and simultaneously shows the reality we live in. It doesnt preach anything. It just shows what is & what should be. Failures are to be inspired from & not for "it was all for nothing". Learn from Thorfy and his failures

@Fridrr That’s why I find criticism on Yuki for how he’s tackled these ideals so strange. Because we now have 2 arcs straight of challenging said ideals and showing as much as we wish it could be applicable, it doesn’t always work out so nicely. He isn’t getting away with everything

@Fridrr the themes of Vinland are amazing, it’s so similar to reality it’s not even funny. Failures are so important and it shows why Thorfinn is loved a lot by everyone, he’s someone who had to endure a lot of pain, repent for his past mistakes and in the end, he’s improved ever since.…

@Fridrr I’m loathing the day that it ends with the Vinland project failing and then a select group will either whine that “it was all for nothing” or that “that’s why Thorfinn should’ve never been a pacifist” because you know well that will be what happens when the manga ends.
